The Chiappa Firearms Little Badger TDX .22 Long Rifle single-shot take-down carbine expands the Italian company’s lineup of rimfire survival rifles with a new entry designed to be kept always in tow and provide the highest levels of resistance against bad weather and rust. Now no longer just a folding carbine, the Little Badger TDX is a fully take-down design: a two-position selector located on the receiver releases the pivot pin, allowing the barrel assembly to be released from the stock; the two parts can then be coupled together for storage.

The Little Badger TDX features a new, lighter single-strut tube stock, with a folding butt-plate kept in place by a screw pin which also dubs as a spare ammunition holder. The Little Badger is sold in a very original, airtight plastic tube – similar to a poster tube – with a screw-on cap, custom graphics, and a nylon shoulder strap. A single-action design, the Little Badger TDX requires the hammer to be manually cocked before each shot; the hammer itself can be raised to a half-cock position and dub as the safety. Provided sights consist in a fixed front blade sight and a polymer adjustable M1 Carbine-type rear sight.
