Beretta 694 Black DLC, a new high-end competition shotgun
Beretta's new clay breaker, the 694 Black DLC over-under shotgun evolves the baseline 694 Sporting model with numerous improvements and a captivating black DLC finish

Beretta's new model 694 Black DLC 12-gauge over-and-under shotgun breathes new life – and a whole new level of performance – into the classic 694 Sporting shotgun line, a favorite of competition shooters worldwide ever since it was first launched back in 2019.
The Beretta 694 Black DLC enjoys a distinct advantage in terms of accuracy, thanks to its 71 cm, 76 cm or 81 cm (28" / 30" / 32") Beretta Steelium Pro barrels, featuring a 450 mm triple forcing cone for reduced recoil, improved terminal performance and tigher, denser, longer patterns, resulting in higher hit probability and stable, constant performance with any kind of ammunition, lead shot included.
Available in Sporting and Trap variants, the Beretta 694 Black DLC shotgun also comes with matte black, interchangeable OptimaChoke HP system chokes – internal in the Trap variant, external for the Sporting variant – which further improve on performance and will withstand intense use with lead shot. The overall length and weigth of the Beretta 694 Black DLC shotgun start at respectively 125 cm / 42.1" and 3,63 kg / 8.04 lbs, going up from there depending on the version and barrel length.

Also featured on the Beretta 694 Black DLC shotgun is also a very dynamic-styled, improved, slimmer profile raised steel aiming rib in two variants – 10x7 for the Sporting version of the shotgun, 10x10 for the Trap variant – featuring a deep central channel for quicker and easier target acquisition.
The receiver, trigger group, opening level and top tang safety of the Beretta 694 Black DLC shotgun are coated in a matte black Diamond-Like Carbon finish, the same already used on the Beretta DT11 competition shotgun and on many components of Beretta's latest practical shooting handguns. The DLC finish drastically reduces friction and offers improved resistance against corrosion and wear.

Other features of the Beretta 694 Black DLC shotgun have been improved over the original 694 Sporting, including adjustment and maintenance options: the redesigned forend catch is adjustable for easier release and better resistance; the steel single selective trigger group is also manually adjustable in weigth.
Both the stock, equipped with a 18 mm Microcore recoil-reducing buttpad from factory, and the checkered slip-proof forend are both manufactured out of Grade 2.5+ walnut, fully oil-finished to match the black finish and acid green details of the receiver. Inside both the stock and the forend are a set of slots for the installation of Beretta's B-Fast system magnetic weights, allowing shooters to adjust the balance of their shotgun to best suit their needs; a set of B-Fast weights is issued from factory with each Beretta 694 Black DLC shotgun, along with a set of chokes and a choke key, user manual, and warranty certificate.

Daniele Piva, Vice President Business Commercial Market of Fabbrica d’Armi Pietro Beretta, has declared:
We are happy to continue the successful 694 legacy. All the beloved features of the 694 are now enhanced by the innovative DLC finish but more importantly by the Steelium Pro barrel technology, which remains a paramount of Beretta product development. Thanks to Beretta’s important investments into the exclusive cold-hammer-forging manufacturing process (that allows to modulate forcing cones geometry for optimized ballistics) and cutting-edge testing and prototyping methods, that are constantly evolving to analyze ballistics phenomena and to provide feedbacks to our Research & Development, Steelium Pro keeps providing the best ballistic performance on the market working on better terminal energy, less recoil and improved shot pattern.
