Savage Arms 110 RF bolt-action rimfire rifles
Savage Arms announces three rimfire variants in the Model 110 line of bolt-action rifles, dedicated to all uses from plinking to target shooting, hunting and competition
New for 2026, Savage Arms announces the launch of three rimfire variants of the iconic Model 110 rifle design, chambered in .22 Long Rifle and chiefly dedicated to sport shooting – from plinking to marksmanship training, from formal target shooting to higher-end PRS Rimfire shooting competitions – while still remaining perfectly suitable for varmint, pest control, and small-game hunting, given their broad compatibility with sound suppressors.
Three variants of the new Savage Arms 110 RF line of bolt-action rifles are available at launch – dubbed the 110 RF Core Tactical, Elite Precision, and MagPul respectively – distinguished in terms of overall layout but sharing common features such as a front locking action that is as close as possible to that of centerfire Savage Arms Model 110 short-action rifles, with the same headspace controls and a newly designed reversible front baffle that allows users to adjust the bolt throw length in under 30 seconds, offering configurations for both traditional short action (say .308 length) and shortened .22 Long Rifle lengths.
This adaptability makes the Savage Arms Model 110 RF full-length rimfire rifles ideal for various applications, from competitive shooting to training purposes. The rifle's design ensures a seamless transition for those familiar with the Model 110 platform, while introducing enhancements tailored for the .22 Long Rifle cartridge.
Additionally, the Savage Arms 110 RF rifles are fully compatible with stocks and accessories designed for the Savage Model 110 short-action centerfire rifles, providing users with extensive customization options.
These rimfire actions are manufactured out of carbon steel and feature a signature Savage Arms externally adjustable AccuTrigger, a 20 MOA top Picatinny rail for optics, and an interchangeable bolt handle knob installed on a 5/16"x24 thread.
Last, all variants of the Savage Arms 110 RF rimfire rifles series feature precision button-rifled barrels with a .22 Long Rifle Match chamber further ensuring down-range performance, and feed through 10-rounds L3I polymer AICS-compatible magazines, featuring an adjustable latch which lets users make slight adjustments to how the magazine sits to eliminate tilt-induced feeding malfunctions.
