SIG Sauer P211-GTO Spectre Comp, a new high-performance competition pistol
SIG Sauer debuts the P211-GTO Spectre Comp, a 9mm Luger 2011-type pistol with a built-in muzzle compensator for practical shooting competitions
Officially announced on March 11 as the latest entry in SIG Sauer's extensive P211 line of 2011-type handguns, the SIG Sauer P211-GTO Spectre Comp 9mm Luger semi-automatic pistol was designed by the Company's Custom Works division and is built for speed, precision, and control.
Featuring a single-action only trigger that's short and breaks lightly and crisply, with a skeletonized flat-face trigger, skeletonized hammer and ambidextrous frame-mounted manual safety, SIG Sauer's P211-GTO Spectre Comp is a competition machine engineered for shooters who demand accuracy, quick shooting, and unmistakable presence.
The fire control group is housed in a CNC-machined, black SIG Sauer Nitron-finished stainless steel frame, featuring a MIL-STD 1913 Picatinny rail for accessories and a squared, high-undercut trigger guard that allows for a higher grip and better recoil control.

The separate grip module is manufactured out of hard-anodized black stainless steel, and features a set of custom CNC-machined brass LOK grips, made unique by their signature GridLOK slip-proof checkering pattern.
The grip panels, trigger, hammer, manual safety, beavertail grip safety, magazine release button and slide stop lever are coated in a gold high-polish titanium nitride finish that elevates durability and corrosion resistance while delivering the unmistakable visual signature of the Spectre family.
The same finish is found on the magazine well funnel, allowing for faster reloads while on the move.
The SIG Sauer P211-GTO Spectre Comp pistol feeds through double-stack, SIG Sauer P320-compatible metal magazines; each pistol comes with two 21-rounds magazines and one extended 23-rounds magazine.
The slide of the SIG Sauer P211-GTO Spectre Comp pistol, also CNC-machined out of SIG Sauer Nitron black finished stainless steel, is uniquely shaped to blend a captivating form-factor and high levels of functionality.
A set of aggressive front and slide serrations ensure confident manipulation under speed or stress, and a fixed black rear sight and green fiber-optic front sight match seamlessly with a SIG-LOC PRO optics mount machined right behind the ejection port, providing prompt integration with modern small-sized red dot sights.
At the heart of the Spectre Comp's performance is a precision-crafted carbon steel 4.4-inch (111 mm) Bull barrel with SIG Sauer's MACH3D compensator – an advanced, 3D-manufactured muzzle device that uses a specialized gas-flow design to reduce felt recoil and muzzle climb down to a drastic 45%, enabling faster, flatter, and more consistent follow-up shots.
Standing at 216 mm (8.5") in overall length and weighing in at 1,38 kilograms (48.6 oz) with an empty magazine, SIG Sauer's P211-GTO Spectre Comp pistol is sold on the US market at a manufacturer's suggested retail price of $2,999.99.
