Arsenal Firearms Stryk B pistol
SHOT Show 2017 - Arsenal Firearms USA showcased the STRYK B pistol, an all US made striker-fired handgun
Arsenal Firearms has introduced the Stryk B polymer-frame, striker-fired semi-automatic pistol for service and defense. The prototypes developed last year with Salient Arms International – dubbed the STRYK A and STRYK B – were on display in what is supposed to be their final form.
The star of the Arsenal Firearms USA stand at the SHOT Show was the STRYK B, a "mid-sized" pistol for both concealed and open carry, rivaling with firearms such as the Glock 17 or Glock 19 as a next-generation service and defense pistol.
Many things have changed from the baseline model, and that's not just in terms of outer apparence, redesigned and QPQ Tenifer-finished slide, and retextured pistol grip.
The polymer formula of the frame has been changed for even higher resistance; the flat-faced trigger offers a very short reset, and thanks to what is now called the Speedlock locking system and to the low bore axis provides quicker follow-up shots following fast realignment.
The pistol now also accepts Glock sights, which are easily available as aftermarket accessories worldwide.
Combining it all with the brand new and patented captive return spring, which looks more like hydraulic than anything else, you have a good upgrade of the original model.
Still no specific word on projected availability, unfortunately, but it can be expected before the end of 2017.
