The UX Stratix 4,5mm / .177 caliber CO² operated air pistol is one of the new products launched in 2026 by UMAREX – one of the best-known companies in the world of airguns – that definitely deserve more than just a passing look.
Conceived to be captivating and immediately catch the eye with its striking and beefy design, the UMAREX UX Stratix is ideal for plinking, backyard shooting, and to introduce the youngest generations to the basics of marksmanship, firearms handling, and gun safety.
Its form-factor also makes it ideal to practice formal training for a number of shooting disciplines – including practical shooting – wherever and whenever the use of firearms is impossible for practical or legal reasons.
The UX Stratix pistol is designed to remind a modern 2011 type pistol in terms of controls and ergonomics, and offers a plethora of features implemented by taking advantage of UMAREX' own experience with high-end airsoft replicas in order to guarantee levels of performance that put the Stratix at the highest levels in its category.

The UMAREX UX Stratix is built around a black polymer frame with checkered grip panels and an integral accessory rail, and features a reciprocating, heavy black metal steel that is designed to provide a realistic recoil effect, locks open on an empty magazine, and must be armed manually to chamber the first round and cock the hammer before starting a shooting session.
The slide features a unique pattern of front and rear serrations, and hosts a green high-visibility fiber optic fixed front sight and fully elevation- and windage-adjustable rear sight.
The barrel of the UMAREX UX Stratix air pistol is smoothbore, manufactured out of steel, and counterbored within a black polymer shroud; muzzle velocity, according to UMAREX, reaches 110 m/s (361 fps). The Stratix also features a single-action only trigger, with a beavertail grip safety, a skeletonized Commander hammer, and ambidextrous frame-mounted manual safety.
The UMAREX UX Stratix feeds via a detachable metal magazine that holds up to eighteen spheric 4,5mm / .177 caliber BBs, and hosts a disposable commercial 12-grams CO² canister for propulsion; a single canister will be enough for approximately forty shots.
The UX Stratix strips more or less like a real-life modern 2011-pattern pistol – the hold-open lever also dubs as the takedown pin, and must be removed before the slide and barrel can be lifted up and removed from the frame – and upon field-strip, users can access a small dial located just behind the rear end of the return spring, which allows manual adjustment of the Shoot-Up system, a counterpart of the familiar Hop-Up system found on many airsoft replicas.
By operating the Shoot-Up dial, users can adjust the trajectory of the BB to meet their specific needs in terms of range and precision.
According to UMAREX, the UX Stratix can remain accurate up to 50 meters (54.68 yards), making it one of the most capable commercial-grade air pistols currently available on the market.
Despite that, the UMAREX UX Stratix develops a maximum energy level of 3 Joules at the muzzle, thus remaining well under the statutory maximum threshold of 7,5 Joules or 14 Joules which, in some Countries, separates airguns that can be purchased and owned by anybody above the age of 18 from those that require a license to buy and possess.
Standing at 215 mm (8.46") in overall length and tipping the scales at 970 grams (34.21 oz) when empty, the UMAREX UX Stratix air pistol is fully compatible with a wide array of holsters manufactured by UMAREX itself and by third party suppliers.
