Syren L4S Sporting Shotgun, designed for Women
SHOT Show 2018 – The Syren brand showcased a new entry in its shotguns line: the has-operated L4S sporting is specifically conceived for female shooters, by female shooters
First established in 2014 and much better known in the United States and in Europe – although its products are indeed available on both sides of the Atlantic Ocean – the Syren brand indicates a line of shotguns manufactured by the Italian companies FABARM and Caesar Guerini specifically conceived to satisfy the needs and demands of female shooters.
More specifically, the Syren shotguns are not just adapted FABARM or Caesar Guerini products: the original projects are heavily tinkered with by female shooters, in order to specifically address the peculiarities and requests of women who practice hunt or sport shooting worldwide.
At the 2018 edition of the NSSF SHOT Show in Las Vegas, the company introduced the new Syren L4 Sporting 12-gauge semi-automatic gas-operated shotgun, chambered to fire 70mm/2.¾” or 76mm/3” shotshells, available with 71 cm / 28” or 76 cm / 30” barrels sporting a ventilated aiming rib, built around a black anodized lightweight aluminum alloy frame, and available for left-handed and right-handed shooters alike.
Unlike the original FABARM L4S, the new Syren L4S sporting features adjustable recoil-pad depth and accommodates for upper body curve, female cheekbone structure, and shorter reach thanks to a slimmer and smaller pistol grip and handguard. The Monte Carlo comb offers a higher cheekpiece and an optimized cast, pitch, and length of pull.
The low-recoiling Syren L4S Sporting shotgun also features the brand’s signature purple components – more specifically the end cap, the trigger, the cut-off button, and the cocking handle. The stock and handguard are manufactured out of Turkish walnut, and oil-treated.
