The ownership and use of silencers and sound suppressors in the United States is continuing to grow in popularity, and with legislation in the works that may actually remove them from the provisions of the 1934 National Firearms Act, it is bound to continue to grow.
Capitalizing on this skyrocketing success, the Winchester Ammunition company showcased a new line of pistol and rifle ammunition at the 2018 SHOT Show in Las Vegas: the Super Suppressed line is specifically optimized for use with silenced firearms.

The Winchester Super Suppressed line of ammunition offers several options for handgun, carbine and rifle shooters, engineered to be clean and deliver reliable performance in both silenced and non-suppressed firearms;
The new loads are subsonic, to produce lower decibel levels and make them more easily suppressable; and they're designed to deliver reliable accuracy for both target and range shooting.
The new Winchester Super Suppressed ammunition will be available in six versions overall: 200 gr .300 AAC Blackout; 168 gr .308 Winchester; 147 gr 9mm Luger; 230 gr .45 ACP; 45 gr .22 Long Rifle and .22 Winchester Magnum Rimfire.
