New for 2026, Vortex Optics introduces the Talon HD 10K line of laser range-finding binoculars.

The Talon HD 10K was meant to solve the ages-old struggle of long-range shooters and hunters with the complexity of gathering ballistic, environmental, and rifle-specific data quickly in the field, especially when relying on traditional methods or multiple devices and in time-sensitive scenarios where visual details and reliable data across extreme distances are critical, split- second precision often means the difference between failure and success.

And just like that, the Vortex Optics Talon HD 10K seamlessly blends a high-definition optical system, premium glass and optical technology for long-range clarity, with cutting-edge ballistic data gathering and processing, and networking capabilities, making resolutive shots at longer ranges easier.

The Vortex Optics Talon HD 10K ballistic rangefinding binoculars are available in 10x42 and 12x50 variants and boast a staggering 10,000 yard maximum laser rangefinding capability (9,1 km) with four selectable ranging and five selectable target modes.

These include Line-of-sight, Horizontal Component Distance (HCD, for slope angle compensation), SCAN and ballistic ranging modes; and normal, first-last, and extended range modes, plus a rain/fog mode that allows ranging in adverse conditions and will return accurate readings even in poor visibility.

A set of on-board environmental sensors gather real-time temperature, pressure, humidity, compass bearing, and inclination readings; the embedded Vortex GeoBallistics Solver software will process all data and return ballistic solutions, including wind/drop compensation, on an easily readable active matrix red OLED display that is intuitive, customizable, and auto-leveling.

The system has the ability to create and save up to ten range cards with drop and wind corrections, and is backed by a full, up-to-date bullet library.

The Talon HD 10K laser rangefinding binoculars can be paired to any element of the Vortex Relay suite, a closed connectivity platform that ensures an instantaneous and unbreakable link between every long-range device in the suite.

The Vortex Relay network delivers critical range and ballistic data without delay, offering the freedom to customize a precision toolkit that will enhance long-range capabilities in hunting, sport shooting, and tactical applications.

Additionally, should the rich library of presets not be quite up to the user's needs, shooters may manually upload their own data based on their shooting setup to fully customize their experience and obtain perfect results every time. All of that is paired with the usual strong build quality that Vortex Optics are known for.

The Vortex Talon HD 10K ballistic laser rangefinding binoculars are built on a durable, lightweight open-hinge magnesium alloy chassis, ergonomically built and protected by a scratch-resistant, ultra-hard ArmorTek rubber coating for a secure, non-slip grip and enhanced, long-term durability in the field.

The system is gas purged and O-ring sealed for superior fogproof, shockproof and waterproof performance in the most extreme conditions and at a wide range of temperatures.

Other features of the Vortex Optics Talon HD 10K ballistic rangefinding binoculars include XR Plus anti-reflective coatings on all air-to-glass surfaces for maximum light transmission and peak low-light performance; adjustable eyecups and locking diopters for maximum adjustability to user's eyes, with or without glasses; tripod adaptability; a conveniently placed center focus wheel; and intuitive rubberized control buttons for quick and easy access to all functions.

MSRP on the US market is set at $3,499.99 for the 10x42 model and at $3,799.99 for the 12x50 variant.
