Savage Arms Revel Tactical lever-action rimfire rifle
Officially announced on the US market on October 8, the Savage Arms Revel Tactical lever-action rifle joins the Revel and Revel DLX rifles, first introduced back in September 2026, as Savage Arms' entry in the crowded market for rimfire rifles as an affordable, reliable and versatile alternative for plinking, range shooting, training, small game hunting and pest control.
Available in .22 Long Rifle, .22 Winchester Magnum Rimfire and .17 Hornady Magnum Rimfire, the Savage Arms Revel Tactical lever-action rifle feeds through a magazine tube with a Henry-style front loading gate; the .22 Long Rifle version will hold up to 12 rounds, while .22 WMR and .17 HMR variants will offer a capacity of nine rounds – plus one in chamber, as usual, for all.
The high capacity, modern tactical looks and user-friendly ergonomics make the Savage Arms Revel Tactical rimfire lever-action rifle a great all-rounder choice for first-time buyers as well as for more experienced sportsmen who are looking for a reliable backup gun or a tool to introduce the next generation of shooters to the basics of marksmanship and safe handling of firearms.

Beth Shimanski, Vice President of Marketing at Savage Arms, says:
The REVEL Tactical represents the next evolution of our REVEL platform, combining the timeless appeal of a lever-action rifle with the modern features today’s shooters demand. From its customizable fit and accessory-ready design to the smooth action Savage is known for, the REVEL Tactical delivers the versatility, reliability and performance needed for everything from range days to small-game hunting and recreational shooting.

All variants of the Savage Arms Revel Tactical are built around a matte black finished aluminum alloy frame and feature a 457 mm / 18" long, medium-profile carbon steel barrel with a 1:9" or 1:16" twist rate depending on caliber.
All variants also feature a ½x28 thread at the muzzle, under a screw-on thread protector, providing a perfect installation point for flash hiders, muzzle brakes, compensators, or sound suppressors where legally available.
The signle-action only trigger, with its 1,13 kg / 40 oz. weight, is very light and offers a crisp break. The external hammer can be manually moved to a half-cock position to dub as a manual safety.
The Savage Arms Revel Tactical lever-action rifle features a black polymer MDT Tactical lightweight stock with a redesigned pistol grip and a set of heavy touchpoints for a firm hold in all conditions.
Also issued from factory is a rubberized recoil pad, reducing the already tame recoil of rimfire calibers to basically zero; a set of clip-on cheek risers allow for quick and easy comb height adjustment.
The black polymer forend with slip-proof side panels features a set of four M-LOK slots on both sides and a single M-LOK bottom slot, providing plenty of room for the installation of accessories.
Standing at 93,35 cm / 36.¾" in overall length and tipping the scales at 2,72 kilograms (6 lbs), the Savage Arms Revel Tactical lever-action rifle comes from factory with a hooded front post sight, adjustable V-notch rear sight, and a 0 MOA single-piece Picatinny rail for optics.
The rifle easily strips in two parts – a front assembly, comprising the receiver, barrel, magazine tube, and handguard; and a rear assembly, comprising the trigger group and stock – to facilitate cleaning, maintenance, repairs or replacement of components, transportation, or secure storage.
Manufacturer's suggested retail price for the Savage Arms Revel Tactical lever-action rifle on the US market is set at $629.00 for the .22 Long Rifle variant and $659.00 for the .22 WMR and .17 HMR models.
