Ten years after the phasing-out of the latest model, a great Ruger classic makes its grand return to the market: we're talking about the Red Label over-and-under shotgun.
Manufactured for Ruger by the expert craftsmen at Connecticut Shotgun Manufacturing Company (CSMC) – one of America's premium manufacturers of fine guns – the Ruger Red Label III over-and-under shotgun is a classic design with little to no concessions to modernity, ideal for purists and a great sporting gun for waterfowling and upland game hunting, as well as for skeet and sporting clay shooting.

The Ruger Red Label III over-and-under shotgun launches in two 20-gauge variants – capable of feeding both 70 mm / 2.¾" or 76 mm / 3" shells – with 71 cm / 28" or 76 cm / 30" barrel length options.
Both variants are built on a precision-machined alloy steel receiver with a hand-fitted locking system and automatic extractors to ensure a tight lockup and long-term reliability, even after thousands of rounds. The Ruger Red Label III shotgun comes with a single inertia trigger and a top-tang sliding safety.
The barrel assembly of the Ruger Red Label III shotgun is brazed and features a full-length top matted vented rib and a fixed red fiber optic front sight. The barrels are bored at .615 and smooth plated for steel shot.
All barrels are compatible with Tru-Choke type chokes, and each shotgun comes issued from factory with five chokes (Skeet, Improved Cylinder, Modified, Improved Modified, and Full) and a dedicated choke key.
The stock and handguard of the Ruger Red Label III over-and-under shotgun are made out of walnut, with a 24-lines-per-inch checkering on all contact surfaces. The stock is 37 cm / 14.5" long, with a neutral cast.
