For the fourth quarter of 2016, as the hunting season starts in most of the western world and the arms industry trade shows of the first months of 2017 come closer and closer, the Browning Arms Company expands its already vast catalogue by boosting some of its most famous and highly appreciated product lines; these include the BAR line of semi-automatic hunting rifles, the Citori 725 line of over-and-under hunting shotguns, and the 1911-380 line of semi-automatic pistols.

The new Browning BAR Mark 3 offers redesigned frame, stock, and handguard
First introduced in Europe in early 2016, the Browning BAR Mark 3 semi-automatic rifle will now be also available in north America – in a brand new variant that adds elegance and versatility to what is already known to be one of the most highly regarded hunting rifles in the world.
The new Browning Mark 3 model features a new receiver profile, and a new stock and forend design. The lightweight alloy receiver sports a satin nickel finish with high-relief engraving and is drilled and tapped for scope mounts. The stock and forend are manufactured out of Grade II walnut, and offer cut checkered surfaces and an oil finish.
The new BAR Mark 3 is available in nine popular centerfire hunting calibers
The new Browning Mark 3 semi-automatic rifle feeds through a metal magazine that can be detached by opening the polymer hinged floorplate. The Browning BAR Mark 3 model is available in popular centerfire hunting calibers such as the .243 Winchester, 7mm-08 Remington, .308 Winchester, .270 Winchester and .30-06 Springfield for the 22"/56cm barrel version; .270 Winchester Short Magnum and .300 Winchester Short Magnum for the 23"/55cm barrel version; and 7mm Remington Magnum or .300 Winchester Magnum for the 26"/66cm. barrel version, The weight ranges around 3,2 and 3,5 klograms (approximately 7 lbs. 2 oz. – 7 lbs. 11 oz.).
In Europe, the existing Browning BAR Mark 3 rifle variants currently sell at a starting price of around €1.500,00; in the United States, the MSRP for the new Browning BAR Mark 3 ranges between $1,239.99 and $1,339.99.
The Browning Citori 725 O/U shotguns will also be available in smaller calibers

The Field and Sporting versions will be available in 28 and .410 gauge variants
The Browning Citori 725 over-and-under shotgun is now one of the world's most popular dedicated high-tier hunting shotguns, and the basic model of the line has been available in 28 gauge and .410 gauge variants ever since early 2015 – this making it not just well apt for small game hunting and varmint shooting, but also as a well-regarded alternative for younger shooters.
Now, the Browning Citori 725 Sporting and Field over-and-under shotguns will also include variants chambered for the 28 gauge and .410 gauge shotshells. Both feature Browning’s own Fire Lite mechanical single trigger system, which provides a light and crisp pull with minimal overtravel.

The 28 gauge and .410 gauge Browning Citori 725 Sporting shotguns will be offered with 30”/76cm or 32”/81cm ventilated rib barrel lengths, and supplied with five extended Standard Invector chokes. The receiver has a silver nitride finish with gold accented engraving. Stock and forearm are Grade III/IV walnut with gloss oil finish. Weighing between 7 lbs. 4 oz. and 7 lbs. 7 oz. (around 3,4 kilograms), the Browning Citori 725 Sporting shotguns in 28 gauge and .410 gauge will go at a suggested retail price of $3,199.99.
The 28 gauge and .410 gauge Browning Citori 725 Field over-and-under shotguns come witbh a silver nitride finish receiver and accented, high-relief engraving. Stock and forearm are Grade II/III walnut with close radius pistol grip in gloss oil finish. Available with 26”/66cm or 28”/71cm ventilated rib barrels, the new Browning Citori 725 Field over-and-under shotguns in 28 gauge and .410 gauge weigh at 7 lbs. – 7 lbs. 3 oz. (around 3,1 kilos). The suggested price is set at $2,539.99.
Browning 1911-380 Black Label Pro pistols
The 1911-380 Black Label Pro pistols come either with or without a railed frame
First launched in the year 2015, the Browning 1911-380 line of pistols offers a single-stack, single-action polymer frame alternative for concealed carry, personal and property defense, backup and off-duty carry, and other tasks where dependability is paramount. Their size – 85% of a standard full-size 1911-type pistol – makes them perfect for first-time gun owners, women, and small-handed shooters.
Unlike other 1911-type variants in .380 ACP caliber, which are scaled-down baseline 1911s and not much more, the Browning 1911-380 pistols were redesigned and built around the size and ballistics of the .380 caliber round to ensure reliability and performance.

Browning's 1911-380 Black Label Pro pistols are available in a three-dot sights or a night sights variant
New for late 2016 are the 1911-380 Black Label Pro variants, available in a standard frame and a MIL-STD 1913 Picatinny railed frame variant.
Sporting a rust resistant 4.¼"/10,79cm barrel with a target crown and fixed three-dot or night combat sights, Browning's new 1911-380 Black Label Pro pistols also feature a machined steel slide, a skeletonized trigger and hammer, an ambidextrous safety switch, and G10 composite grip panels. The overall weight of the Browning 1911-380 Black Label Pro pistols ranges around 17.½ oz./510 grams, and the single-stack metal magazines holds eight rounds of .380 ACP ammunition: a perfect match for all-day carry.
As of today, the Browning 1911-380 Black Label Pro pistols are not available in Europe and only distributed in the United States. The baseline Browning 1911-380 Black Label Pro pistol is sold at a suggested retail price of $799,99 for the standard sights variant and $879.99 for the night sights variant. The railed version with standard sights is sold at a suggested retail price of $829.99 – going up to $909.99 for the night sights variant.
