Ruger Mini-14 Tactical: the A-Team classic returns!
SHOT Show 2024 – The Ruger Mini-14 Tactical rifle is back: the classic folding-stock version which was made popular by the famous A-Team TV series of the 1980s
Highly acclaimed by the gun enthusiasts' community upon its announcement, the Ruger Mini-14 Tactical semi-automatic rifle marks the return of a great classic: available in limited quantities, at least at the beginning, the new Mini-14 Tactical is the reincarnation of the Mini-14 folding stock version used by the main characters in the popular 1980s TV show The A-Team, standing in for the select-fire Ruger AC-556 model.
Like the original, the new Mini-14 version features a walnut stock with a vertical black injection-molded polymer pistol grip and a stainless steel side-folder. Like the stock, other outer metal surfaces such as the receiver, action, trigger and trigger guard, barrel, and flash hider come with a stainless finish. Magazines, holding 20 rounds of 5.56x45mm NATO ammunition, are made out of steel with a nickel-Teflon plating.
The new Ruger Mini-14 folding-stock rifle features a Garand-style action with breech bolt locking system, a fixed-piston gas system and self-cleaning moving gas cylinder; also featured are a ghost ring rear aperture sight and a non-glare, protected blade front sight with bayonet lug. The receiver features machined scope mounts and is also drilled and tapped for a top Picatinny rail.
MSRP for the new Ruger Mini-14 folding stock rifle is set at $1,849.00 on the US market.
