CZ P10C Urban Grey Suppressor Ready
SHOT Show 2018 – CZ expands its P10C line of striker-fired, polymer frame semi-automatic pistols for service, personal defense and tactical applications with a suppressor-ready variant in an appealing "Urban Grey" finish
Silencers and sound suppressors are legal to own by Federal law and by State law in most of the United States of America, and attempts are being made – and are indeed close to success! – to remove them from the list of items regulated by the 1934 National Firearms Act, meaning that a Federal authorization for purchase and ownership of silencers in the United States may soon be no longer necessary.
It's thus no wonder if so many manufacturers, both in America and in Europe, have been rushing to launch "suppressor-friendly" handguns and long guns on the civilian market. Threaded barrels, silencer-friendly flash hiders and chamberings in calibers that perform well when silenced are the new normal on the civilian guns market, at least in America.
And those firearms are available even in Countries – particularly in Europe – where silencers are illegal, since they can easily be fitted with other muzzle devices such as flash hiders, muzzle brakes or compensators for competition shooting.
That's why the well-known Czech gunmaker CZ is launching the new P10C Urban Grey Suppressor Ready at the 2018 SHOT Show in Las Vegas – the latest version of its polymer-frame, striker-fired semi-automatic service, defensive and tactical pistol first debuted exactly one year ago.
Much more than just CZ's most modern take on the striker-fired pistol market (the first being the CZ-100 in the 1990s!), the P-10 is decidedly CZ, from the way it feels to the way it shoots. Joining the company's "Urban Grey" series of pistols, this variant of the striker-fired P-10 wears a distinctive hue that’s a mix of FDE and a light grey. Also added are high night sights, a suppressor-ready barrel threaded 1/2x28 and an extended base pad that boosts capacity to 17+1.
