Smith & Wesson M&P M2.0 Compact pistol, now in .45 Auto
The M&P M2.0 line of semi-automatic pistols now includes a smaller, beefed-up version sporting a 4-inch barrel and a 10-rounds magazine in .45 ACP
Smith & Wesson – one of America's oldest and best known gunmakers – announced on Monday, Semptember 10 that the popular M&P semi-automatic polymer pistols has been expanded to include a M&P M2.0 Compact pistol chambered in .45 Auto. Featuring a shorter, 4” barrel, a 10+1 round capacity, and the popular M2.0 feature set, the M&P45 M2.0 Compact is a popular size for law enforcement use and personal protection.
Designed for personal, sporting, and professional use, the M&P M2.0 .45 ACP pistol delivers an entirely new platform, introducing innovative features in nearly every aspect of the pistol, including trigger, grip, frame, and finish. Highlights of the M&P M2.0 pistol include an extended stainless-steel chassis and a low barrel bore axis for reduced muzzle rise and faster aim recovery.

Available with or without an ambidextrous thumb safety, the M&P M2.0 Compact pistol series includes the advanced M2.0 feature set, delivering an aggressively-textured grip for enhanced control, four interchangeable palmswell grip insert sizes for perfect hand fit, and a light, crisp M2.0 trigger with a tactile and audible reset.
Offering an optimal 18-degree grip angle for natural point of aim, the M&P45 M2.0 Compact pistol and comes standard with a white-dot front sight and a white two-dot rear sight, two 10-round magazines, and an accessory rail. A Law Enforcement version is offered with tritium night sights and three magazines.
The MSRP for the Smith & Wesson M&P45 M2.0 Compact pistol has been set at $569 for the U.S. market; no information has been made available so far concerning export availability.
