After the "Compact" model, here comes the Carry: the CZ Shadow 2 Carry semi-automatic pistol is a new defense-oriented variant of the CZ Shadow 2, first introduced in 2016 and firmly established as CZ's flagship IPSC competition pistol.

The CZ Shadow 2 Carry is an improved take on the first compact Shadow 2 – the CZ Shadow 2 Compact – first introduced back in summer 2023 as a defense-capable pistol still perfectly capable of running IPSC or USPSA matches.

Like the Compact, the new CZ Shadow 2 Carry pistol is built around a 7075-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum alloy frame with an integral Picatinny rail for accessories; unlike its predecessor, however, the Shadow 2 Carry is not "also" meant for personal protection and concealed carry, but mainly designed for such uses in mind.

Standing at 19 centimeters (7.48") in overall length and weighing in at 870 grams (1.91 lbs) when empty, the new CZ Shadow 2 Carry pistol is chambered in 9mm Luger and feeds through double-stack fifteen rounds magazines. The 102mm / 4" barrel is cold-hammer forged, entirely manufactured in-house by CZ, and guaranteed for life.

The CZ Shadow 2 Carry pistol reprises the same grip design, Dural grip panels, and general ergonomics of the baseline Shadow 2: the gun fits the hand like a glove, perfectly embodying the features of shootability and comfortable handling that made the Shadow 2 an unbeatable competition champion into a package fit to efficiently protect your life should the need arise.

The slide of the new CZ Shadow 2 Carry pistol is machined out of a single steel billet and blued to perfection, and comes with front and rear slide serrations and a top machined micro red dot sight interface compatible with Shield RMSc footprint sights. A set of raised dovetailed front and rear iron sights with luminescent dots is also provided, dubbing as a back-up in the event of a failure of the red dot sight.
