Vortex Ranger HD 3000 LRF, new laser rangefinding binocular
Vortex Optics introduces the new Ranger HD 3000 10x42 binocular, featuring high definition optical elements and a built-in laser rangefinder exceeding 3000 yards in range

The new Vortex Optics Ranger HD 3000 LRF 10x42 laser rangefinding binocular is specifically designed to meet the demands of needs of modern-day rifle and bow hunters in all conditions environments, integrating a set of features that will undoubtedly also catch the attention of long-range shooting enthusiasts, outdoors enthusiasts, and many other categories of users.
Built on a tough yet lightweight body coated in a scratch-proof, shockproof and waterproof rubberized green layer, nitrogen-purged and O-ring sealed against water and moisture, the new Vortex Optics Ranger HD 3000 LRF binocular is based on a high definition optical system with selected glass components select glass elements to deliver exceptional resolution, cut chromatic aberration and provide outstanding color fidelity, edge-to-edge sharpness and light transmission.
Features such as a 17mm eye relief, 56 mm - 75 mm interpupillary distance, 1.8 m (6") close focus, and rubberized extendable eyepieces make the Ranger HD 3000 LRF binocular easy and comfortable to use even when wearing prescription lenses.

Additionally, all air-to-glass components – objective and eyepiece lenses included – are protected by anti-reflective coatings for increased light transmission, greater clarity and optimal low-light performance; the ultra-hard, scratch-resistant ArmorTek coating protects exterior lenses from scratches, oil and dirt for a clean, unobstructed field of view at all times.
The center focus dial, diopter and reticle focus dials located on the eyepieces and twin activation and adjustment buttons located on the bridge make the Vortex Optics Ranger HD 3000 LRF laser rangefinding binocular easy and intuitive to use, quickly and effectively, in all conditions, by left-handed and right-handed users alike, even when wearing gloves.

The embedded laser rangefinder is powered by a single CR123 battery and offers a maximum range of up to 3,000 yards (2.743 meters) on reflective targets; up to 1,500 yards (1.372 meters) on deer-sized prey and similar targets; and up to 1,800 yards (1.646 meters) on stationary targets such as trees, with an accuracy of approximately 90 centimeters between 91 and 900 meters (± 1 yd. @ ≥ 100 yds. & ≤ 1000yds).
The Vortex Ranger HD 3000 LRF binocular integrates a low-light optimized OLED display that projects a reticle, rangefinding data and information on the remaining battery charge directly through the eyepieces; the display is backlit in red, and its brightness can be adjusted on five incremental levels for optimal visibility and quick reading in all light conditions.

The laser rangefinder can operate in three different modes: normal mode, Horizontal Component Distance (HCD) mode, and Line Of Sight (LOS) mode. The latter provide useful adjustment and compensation data that shooters can dial in to achieve optimal on-target accuracy for every shot.
Other features include a 102 m / 335 ft linear field of view and a 6.4° angular field of view at 1000 yards. The front end cap of the bridge can be removed, revealing a tripod adapter socket.
