Specifically designed by Hornady for high-volume, competitive shooters who demand precision, consistency and reliable performance round after round, the new Hornady Aeromatch match bullets are available in quantities tailored for competitive shooters, eliminating the hassle of piecing together smaller orders, and competitively priced.

Designed for maximum aerodynamic efficiency, the Aeromatch bullets are packaged from small production batches in 500‑count boxes and sequential 3,000‑count cases, ensuring unmatched consistency and quality control.

Six profiles will be initially offered: .22 cal. HPBT, 69 gr. or 77 gr. with cannelure; .30 cal. HPBT, in 168 or 175-grains variants; 6mm 105-grains and 6.5mm 140-grains, both Compound profile. All have been refined to deliver superior results at every match.

Matching seating stems for Hornady seating dies are available. No need to change load data, die settings, or ballistic solver information – everything stays the same, for seamless transition.

Hornady DVRT

Using Doppler radar and Schlieren imagery, Hornady engineers have developed and patented Drag Variability Reduction Technology (DVRT) to increase the uniformity of bullet drag from shot to shot, resulting in less dispersion at long range.

While analyzing thousands of Doppler radar drag curves, ballistics experts isolated a bullet tip design that would reduce the variation in drag from bullet to bullet. Specifically, the bullet tip design must feature a flat meplat – not pointed – whose diameter is to be of a specific ratio to the bullet diameter. The flat meplat increases bullet drag uniformity for less dispersion and smaller groups at longer ranges.

Now fully patented, the optimized DVRT design and technology are available in the A-Tip Match, ELD-X, ELD Match, ELD-VT and CX bullets; and in the Precision Hunter, Match, Outfitter, Superformance CX, V-Match, and Hornady BLACK lines of ammunition.

Hornady Security MOBILIS safes

Hornady announces new products for 2025

Hornady's MOBILIS safes are based on an innovative modular design that allows users to get all the security they need without the complexities of traditional welded safes: MOBILIS safes can be transported and assembled piece by piece in any room of choice.

The included tool kit provides everything required for assembly, giving users the power to set up their safe in a matter of minutes. The interior of the safe can be completed with the full line of accessories of the Square-Lok interior organizing system, maximizing storage space according to the user's preferences, and metal Square-Lok shelves and rifle/pistol gun racks, all configurable to suit any needs.

Three variants – single-door, double-door, and double-door MAX – are available. All come with a built-in 120V outlet and USB power strip for the electronic lock, and offer heavy duty, tamper-proof construction thanks to their 9-gauge 2-ply steel exterior walls with pry-resistant 3/16" solid steel doors, non-breach seal and nine 1-inch steel live locking bolts.

Hornady Law Enforcement and Military

Hornady announces new products for 2025

Also new for 2025 are several new entries in the Hornady Law Enforcement and Military product line.

Among those is the new .338 ARC cartridge, developed in response to a request from a well-known US special forces unit as a better alternative to .300 Blackout, offering reliable function with subsonic and supersonic loads with the same gas setting and higher overall bullet energy. The SUB-X TAP subsonic load with 307 gr./ 19,9 g expanding bullet is therefore suitable as an all-round duty cartridge.

Additionally, the Hornady TAP Urban line – designed for non-barrier engagements in urban environments, where reducing the risk of over-penetration is crucial – will be supplemented in 2025 by two new calibers: 6mm ARC, loaded with 80-grains bullets offering a muzzle velocity of 878 m/s from 46 cm barrels, and 6.5 Creedmoor, loaded with 100-grains bullets offering a muzzle velocity of 975 m/s from 51 cm barrels.

2025 will also see Hornady launch two new modern all-round duty loads in the 7.62x39mm: a monolithic, lead-free Monoflex-Tombak deformation bullet with 111 gr./ 7,2 g and 615 m/s from a 23 cm barrel, specific for SBRs, and a Sub-X subsonic cartridge with 255 gr./ 16,5 g and 320 m/s from a 30 cm barrel. Both can be fired from standard 7.62x39mm rifles without modifications.

Hornady's training ammunition line expands with the launch of a CrimpLock 9mm Luger 135 grain load – an indoor training cartridge for the Critical Duty load, officially used by the FBI and special units of a German State Police force among others. The bullet retains the same weight and shape as the Critical Duty counterpart; other features include a lead-free primer, and a temperature-stable propellant with reduced muzzle flash is used as the propellant charge to offer the same shooting behavior and point of impact as the Critical Duty and making sure that functional problems caused by issues with the magazine or firearm will show up during training.

Last, the Hornady Heavy Barrier ammunition line – particularly suitable for heavy obstacles, such as laminated glass, etc. – is being expanded with two loads in .300 PRC with 190 gr bullet and a muzzle velocity of 914 m/s from 61 cm barrels, and in .338 Lapua Magnum with 250-gr bullet and a muzzle velocity of 884 m/s from 61 cm barrels. All are loaded with a monolithic, lead-free tombac expanding bullet and Heat Shield tip.
