The 2025 edition of SHOT Show saw Walther Arms, Inc. – the US branch of the well-known German Carl Walther company – showcase the Walther PDP Pro-E 4.5" and the Walther PDP Pro-X PMM semi-automatic pistols: two new variants of Walther's flagship PDP series of striker-fired, polymer frame pistols that replaced the legendary P99 and PPQ lines, the PDP Pro-E 4.5" and PDP Pro-X PMM offer features that will mostly appeal the practical shooting community.

Walther's new PDP Pro-E 4.5" 9mm Luger pistol combines precision, adaptability and handling thanks to features such as Walther's own Dynamic Performance trigger, a flat-faced trigger with a polymer trigger-shoe offering a consistent and crisp break with every pull; an aluminum magwell and aluminum extensions for the 20-rounds magazines Walther's well-known Performance Duty Texture for secure and comfortable grip in challenging conditions; and a set of three-dot sights dovetailed on the slide that is also optics-ready.

Featuring a 4.5-inch barrel and a set of front and rear slide serrations, the PDP Pro-E is built on a full-size reinforced polymer frame with a Picatinny rail for accessories; MSRP on the US market is set at $779.00.

The two entries in the Walther PDP Pro-X PMM series – dubbed the Compact and the Full-Size respectively – differ only by frame size: the earlier is built on Walther's PDP "Compact" frame with a shorter grip, and as such it feeds through 18-rounds magazines, while the latter's longer grip can fit 20-rounds magazines, with extensions available for both.

The PDP Pro-X PMM pistols feature a 4-inch slide and 4.6" threaded barrel paired with a specifically-engineered Parker Mountain Machine (PMM) compensator, delivering best-in-class recoil reduction while seamlessly blending with the pistol’s aesthetics. This advanced compensator is housed within a 5-inch full-length dust cover frame, providing superior balance and reliability.

Also featured in all Walther's PDP Pro-X pistols are the Company's own Dynamic Performance Trigger – well known for its crisp, clean break and short reset – and an aluminum aluminum magwell and aluminum magazine base pads, ensuring smooth and rapid reloads even under the most demanding conditions. All models come with dovetailed three-dot sights and optics-ready slide.

MSRP on the US market is set at $999 for both models.
