Debuting at the 2025 SHOT Show is the SIG Sauer CROSS Sawtooth Short Action bolt-action rifle – a lighter, more maneuverable variant of the CROSS design offered by SIG Sauer as a long-range precision rifle for hunting, sport shooting competitions, or tactical applications.

Built on a moss green Cerakote alloy chassis, the CROSS Sawtooth Short Action rifle feeds through a detachable magazine holding five rounds of .308 Winchester or 6.5 Creedmoor ammunition; the black polymer pistol grip is AR-15 compatible, and the folding buttstock is ultra-lightweight, skeletonized, and precision-adjustable for height, inclination, and length of pull.

The SIG Sauer CROSS Sawtooth Short Action rifle comes standard with a lightened handguard featuring two series of M-LOK slots on both sides and a bottom ARCA-Swiss rail; a top 20-MOA MIL-STD 1913 Picatinny rail offers plenty of room for optical sights and other accessories. Also standard with the CROSS Sawtooth Short Action rifle is a two-stage Match trigger, adjustable between 1 and 2 kg of pull approximately (2.5-4 lb).

All the barrels of the CROSS Sawtooth Short Action rifles are carbon fiber, provided by PROOF Research, and come with a stainless steel heavy-profile radial brake for reducing felt recoil by up to 45 percent. Three barrel length options are available: 16 inch (40 cm) for .308 Winchester, 18 inch (45 cm) or 24 inch (60 cm) for 6.5 Creedmoor. MSRP starts at $2,599.99 on the US market.
