SIG Next 2026: SIG Sauer flagship event
In the heart of New England, SIG NEXT is the annual "invitation-only" event where SIG Sauer USA showcases its latest innovations, reaffirming its leading position in the international firearms industry.
SIG NEXT is an exclusive, annual brand experience and product launch showcase hosted by SIG Sauer corporate headquarters and training facilities in New Hampshire, including the SIG Experience Center and SIG Sauer Academy.
This premier event serves as the company's platform to unveil its newest generation of firearms, ammunition, optics, and accessories before they are officially released to the general public. Rather than relying solely on traditional trade shows, SIG Sauer uses this immersive gathering to highlight its relentless drive for engineering innovation and tactical performance.
During a quite immersive two days event, industry professionals, media members, and VIP guests are invited behind the scenes to get a first look at upcoming product lines. Attendees are provided with hands-on demonstrations, range time, and direct interaction with the design and engineering teams. Ultimately, SIG NEXT is designed to cement SIG Sauer’s position as a global leader in small arms innovation by showcasing their cutting-edge advancements directly from their home base.
Held in Newington and Epping (New Hampshire) past September 23-24, with dozens of guests from the United States and many other countries, the SIG NEXT 2026 has unveiled an extensive lineup of new products spanning pistols, rifles, optics, and accessories.
SIG NEXT 2026 officially kicked off with an exclusive dinner and evening introductory event over the brand’s highly anticipated 2027 product lineup. Hosted in Portsmouth, one of the most important historic city of New England, the exclusive evening event gathered industry professionals, media, and VIP guests for a firsthand look at SIG Sauer's future.
The centerpiece was the introduction of the all-new SIG Sauer P385 pistol platform, featuring a revolutionary fire control unit and low bore axis. Managers also showcased the lightweight alloy-frame P211, the reimagined MCX-LTAW suppressed short-barreled rifle, and next-generation electro-optics like the wirelessly paired XRAY5 red dot and FOXTROT2R light. This intimate, manager-led presentation has been the perfect introduction to the following “experiential” two following days, visiting the SIG Sauer production facilities and the SIG Sauer Academy.
Over the past few decades, SIG Sauer USA has evolved from a respected traditional firearms manufacturer into an absolute powerhouse within the global defense and sporting industry. SIG Sauer has fundamentally redefined itself, shifting from a traditional gunmaker to a modern, high-tech defense and technology company.
This transformation is driven by massive, sustained investments in research, development, state-of-the-art manufacturing infrastructure, and intense, top quality marketing communication.
Rather than relying on legacy machining, the company has integrated advanced automation, precision robotics, and cutting-edge materials science into its everyday operations. Today, SIG Sauer dominates the international firearms market across the civilian, military, and law enforcement sectors.
At the core of this technological evolution is a formidable talent pool. SIG Sauer now employs around 500 engineers across its global facilities, representing a massive brain trust dedicated to continuous innovation.
These engineering teams are not just designing firearms; they are developing fully integrated weapon systems. In the military sphere, SIG Sauer work encompasses sophisticated electro-optics, next-generation suppressors utilizing 3D-printed Direct Metal Laser Sintering (DMLS), advanced ammunition formulation, and even remote-controlled weapon stations and drone technologies for the modern warfighter.
Meanwhile, in the civilian market, SIG Sauer remains a driving force. From the revolutionary P365 series built for everyday carry to commercial variants of military firearms, their civilian footprint is unrivaled.
By strategically expanding its in-house manufacturing to include electro-optics, suppressors, and specialized ammunition, SIG Sauer has solidified its position as an undisputed leader and complete systems provider for the modern tactical and sporting world.
The company's huge capital investments have resulted in ultra-modern campuses that feel more like aerospace laboratories than traditional armories. By pouring hundreds of millions of dollars into engineering talent and high-tech manufacturing equipment, SIG Sauer has cemented its reputation as a forward-thinking defense contractor, equipped to rapidly solve complex tactical problems and shape the future of small arms technology.

SIG Sauer P385 Series
The P385 is SIG Sauer’s new line of modular striker-fired handguns, highlighted as a major platform launch, featuring variants like the P385 Carry, Comp, Mach3D, Full, and Compact.
Chambered in 9mm Luger and built around a polymer frame with a two-parts extendable grip – dubbed a “grip module” by SIG Sauer – the P385 owes its modular design to a self-contained trigger group hosted in a removable steel chassis.
The SIG Sauer P385 pistols feature a much lower bore axis compared to their predecessors and feature totally redesigned ergonomics and recoil management features; all variants are compatible with P365 magazines.
Five versions are available at launch, with two different frame layouts, two color options, and three different barrel lengths and slide configurations, including two compensated variants. All models feature a top cutout for red dot sights. Ambidextrous frame-mounted safeties are optionally available.
SIG Sauer P365-MACH3D
SIG Sauer P365-MACH3D
Introduced in 2018, the SIG Sauer P365 semi-auto pistol set new standards by which all subcompact defensive pistols are judged; its technical layout proved so successful, SIG Sauer evolved it into a full line of semi-compact and compact pistols for sport shooting and personal defense applications.
The new SIG Sauer P365-MACH3D 9mm Luger semi-automatic pistol is a performance-driven addition to the popular P365 everyday carry lineup, combining the tried and true P365 design with a wide list of improvements that include a 8,63 cm / 3.4” Bull barrel equipped with a MACH3D muzzle compensator which uses advanced additive manufacturing (industrial-grade 3D printing) to port gases with unrivaled efficiency, reducing muzzle climb by 30% and favoring a natural return to zero.
Other features include a black or desert tan XMACRO grip module (polymer frame) with a removable enlarged magazine well funnel, high-profile magazine catch, and flat-face trigger. The slide is nitride-finished and hosts a set of XRAY3 day-night sights and a SIG-LOC optics interface. Magazines hold 17 rounds of 9mm Luger ammunition and feature high-visibility followers.
