The Caldwell Mag Charger TAC-30
With the Caldwell TAC-30 Mag Charger, a simplified version of the AR-15 Mag Charger, in 2016 Caldwell has expanded its line of quick magazine chargers
Caldwell Shooting Supplies – a Battenfeld Technologies, Inc. brand – is expanding its already well-known line of magazine loading devices with the launch of the TAC-30 Mag Charger.
Caldwell's mag chargers are manufactured out of polycarbonate and plastic, and based on a simple and yet very effective design that allows multiple detachable magazines for popular modern sporting rifles and MIL/LE dedicated assault rifles to be loaded in seconds; as of today, the Caldwell brand distributes dedicated magazine chargers for AR-15 magazines and for AK-47/AKM magazines, thus fulfilling the needs of a wide pool of civilian users that rely on modern sporting rifles for hunting, sport and leisure shooting, personal and property protection, as well as those of the vast majority of military units and Police agencies around the globe.
Similar in conception to the earlier AR Mag Charger, the Caldwell TAC-30 Mag Charger is a simplified version of the same system, conceived to quickly load 20-rounds or 30-rounds AR-15 compatible magazines, used by most 5.56x45mm/.223 Remington caliber service rifles and modern sporting rifles available on the market.
The dispenser of the Caldwell TAC-30 Mag Charger will fill from 20-rounds ammo boxes – either factory packages or Caldwell's own plastic boxes – or from ten-rounds stripper clips as still often used in the military for quick magazine loading. The entire process of filling the Caldwell TAC-30 Mag Charger with ammunition from a box or stripper clips and loading all 20 or 30 rounds into a magazine takes less than 10 seconds.
With a manufacturer's suggested retail price of $64.99 in the United States, the TAC-30 is the cheapest entry in the Caldwell's line of magazine chargers, and it can also be ordered at a very good price at Brownells online store.
