Introduced in Europe one year ago, the Beretta SL3 over-and-under hunting shotgun is now available on the US market, as the latest entry in Beretta’s Premium line of hunting shotguns, offering undeniable aesthetic appeal and top performance. Hand-manufactured by Beretta’s finest gunsmiths, the SL3 over-and-under shotgun is available in 12Ga, with a 76mm/3” chamber.
The Beretta SL3’s elegant and reliable box-lock system provides a perfect action/barrel locking, made sturdier and more rigid by the anchoring of the barrels at three separate points; hinge pins, lower hooks and locking pins. The opening and closing of the gun will remain smooth and effortless over time and no matter how much you’ll use it: the SL3 was tested in-house with an excess of 11.500 3” Magnum 12-gauge cartridges without experiencing any issue.
The Beretta SL3 over-and-under shotgun offers a fast and crisp trigger thanks to the Company’s own, competition-oriented hammer leaf spring; a set of newly designed ejectors, easy and quick to inspect and clean, offer superior reliability; and all of that is topped by Beretta’s exclusive Steelium tri-alloy NI-CR-MO steel barrels.
The OptimaBore HP profile of the barrels has been specifically designed to provide excellent patterns with every type of shot: lead, steel and other alternatives to lead currently available on the market

The rounded and fluid design of the Beretta SL3 shotgun’s receiver emphasizes the flowing profile of the gun, enhancing its graceful looks while improving target acquisition; engravings are created with Beretta’s most modern and best in class technology: a 5-axis laser, able to engrave rounded surfaces with perfect continuity of the pattern. buyers can choose from three different engravings designed by Beretta’s master engravers: a fine English scroll; a floral, deep relief scroll; and a game scene.
A mirror polished version is also available, realized through hours of hand polishing on every surface. In any case, the Beretta Sl3 over-and-under shotgun is sold in a brand new, dedicated case manufactured by hand in Beretta’s Custom Case Gun Atelier.
