11 amazing new products: exclusive optics, new exploding targets, new airgun ammunition and full-automatic airguns and airsoft replicas – this is what the appeal of the UMAREX USA booth at the 2017 SHOT Show was all about.
First and foremost, the U.S.-based branch of the well-known German company had two new optics from the Axeon brand on display, conceived to solve common frustrations experienced by hunters and shooters.
The patented Absolute Zero model uses a dual-laser system that quickly and easily allows sighting in with a single shot – saving time and money. The Second Zero instead allows quick retargeting at a new distance without additional calculation or adjustments.
Polycase ARX bullets and Umarex Havox copper pellets
In terms of airgun ammunition, the Umarex ARX definitely represents the biggest technological jump in decades. Manufactured for Umarex by PolyCase and constructed from an advanced polymer-copper matrix, the ARX airsoft pellets will revolutionize terminal performance in both muzzleloading and airgun hunting.
The Umarex Havox pellets are instead manufactured out of copper. A tiny projectile that dumps massive energy, the Umarex Havok expands like a machine upon impact – which makes it it the most lethal small game airgun ammunition available.
