Yes, indeed. With a suggested retail price starting at $669.00 in the United States and at around €1,200.00 in Europe, the Sauer 100 Classic XT is definitely that gun. It has been available in Europe for a while, now, but its official launch on the north American market took place only at the 2017 edition of the SHOT Show in Las Vegas.

Packed with high-end features such as a three position safety, an original hammer-forged Sauer barrel and Sauer's own, smooth bolt with a three-lug head and a 60-degrees lift, and with the same ERGO-MAX stock geometry patterned after that of Sauer's own, premium models such as the 101 and 404 rifles, the Sauer 100 Classic XT is conceived to set a new standard in its class.

Sauer's model 100 Classic XT rifle is neutrally cast for both left- and right-handed shooters, and offers great stability thanks to the EVER REST action bedding. The trigger weight is externally adjustable from 1 to 2 kilograms (2.2/4.2 lbs) in weight.

The Sauer 100 Classic XT comes without any factory-issued sighting system, but is suitable for all Remington 700 scope bases. Sauer's own HEXALOCK mount is recommended. Other factory accessories include a neoprene sling, a line of soft carry cases, and Sauer's own Titanium Pro silencer.
