Smith & Wesson M&P FPC folding carbine, now in 5.7x28mm
SHOT Show 2026 – Smith & Wesson's popular M&P FPC folding carbine is now available in a blowback-operated version chambered in the snappy 5.7x28mm FN cartridge
New for 2026, Smith & Wesson expands its popular line of M&P FPC folding semi-automatic sporting and defensive carbines with the launch of a new entry chambered in 5.7x28mm.
Incorporating an M&P 5.7 pistol grip and flat-face trigger, and compatible with the same 10-rounds or 22-rounds magazines, the M&P FPC 5.7 operates on a semi-auto blowback design; includes an integrated recoil buffer system and a 16.¼-inch barrel with a ½ x 28 threaded muzzle; it is 30 ⅜" (approx. 78 cm) long when unfolded and barely 16.⅜" (43 cm approx.) when folded for easy storage; and its horizontal folding mechanism construction serves as a locking latch to ensure secure transport.
Other features of the Smith & Wesson M&P FPC 5.7 carbine include a full-length upper Picatinny rail and an M-LOK handguard for accessories; a polymer stock with integrated storage for spare magazines; and a set of QD sling mounts.
MSRP on the US market is set at $719.00.
