Jacob Grey Firearms Hex Pro, the evolution of 1911 pistols
SHOT Show 2026 – Jacob Grey Firearms introduces the Hex Pro pistol, a handgun purpose-built to push 1911 performance, durability, and shootability beyond all limits
New for 2026, Jacob Grey Firearms introduces the Hex Pro 9mm Luger semi-automatic pistol: a high-end 1911/2011 variant built on a CNC-machined billet 4140 pre-hardened steel frame, finished with a Black DLC coating to enhance slide-to-frame fit, durability, and long-term wear characteristics.
The grip module is fully CNC machined from 7075 aircraft-grade aluminum and hard-coat anodized, similar in ergonomics and shape to Jacob Grey's well-known Nox 9 model and uniquely contoured grip to fit a wide range of hand sizes naturally and securely.
The Jacob Grey Hex Pro features a 4.6-inch slide and barrel, incorporating a chunk ported barrel design engineered to reduce muzzle rise while maintaining a clean, balanced aesthetic; all ignition components – hammer, sear, disconnector, and safeties – are CNC-machined from tool steel and PVD coated in Carbon Grey, a procedure the company calls "Armored Billet".
Other features include a 2.5 lb Controlled Radius Trigger with over-travel adjustment and enhanced hammer/sear engagement; an optic-ready slide with RMR footprint plate positioned rearward of the ejection port for unobstructed operation; an exclusive patented ejector design, unique to the Jacob Grey platform; and 10-rounds or 17-rounds double-stack magazines.
MSRP on the US market is set at $4,800.00.
