Palmetto State Armory (PSA) introduces the Olcan semi-automatic bull-pup rifle: a compact, lightweight design for local law enforcement, home and property defense, and sport shooting based on the upper receiver of PSA's own, successful JAKL line of modern sporting rifles installed on a dedicated 7075-T6 bull-pup lower receiver.

Chambered in 5.56x45mm NATO and .300 AAC Blackout and feeding through USGI magazines, the PSA Olcan bull-pup rifle features a long-stroke piston-driven working system with a toolless 8-position gas block, a non-reciprocating charging handle that can be swapped to the left or right side of the upper receiver, and a Carpenter 158 steel bolt and 4340 steel bolt carrier that are an AK/AR hybrid.

The PSA Olcan rifle is compatible with AR-15 vertical grips and features an AR-15 two-position rotary safety, bolt release catch and magazine catch; it comes with a 14.5" barrel and a pinned and welded JMAC Customs muzzle device that brings the overall barrel length to 16 inches; a black synthetic cheekpiece; and a full-length top Picatinny rail for optics or flip-sights.

Available in black or flat dark earth, with the user's choice of Keymod or M-LOK slots for accessories, the PSA Olcan is fully configurable per caliber and overall length as its chassis is compatible with all JAKL uppers with 10.5-inch or longer barrels.
