Announced at the end of December as new for 2024, the Savage Arms 110 Ultralite Elite bolt-action rifle is a new iteration of the tried and true Model 110 action conceived for long-range precision shooting competitions and long-range hunting, particularly mountain hunting and other specialites requiring lightweight rifles capable of very accurately placing shots at extended ranges.

Available in six calibers – .308 Winchester, .300 Winchester Magnum, .300 Winchester Short Magnum, 6.5 Creedmoor, 6.5 PRC, and 7mm PRC – the Savage Ultralite Elite is built around the MDT HNT26 chassis and features a 3-rounds magazine in all calibers, AR-15 compatible pistol grip, and numerous carbon fiber components to reduce overall weight.

The foam-filled folding buttstock, with its height-adjustable cheek riser and ¼" inserts for LOP adjustment, is indeed manufactured out of carbon fiber, and so are the factory pistol grip and the forend, which itself comes with an integrated ARCA rail.

The 46 cm / 18" or 51 cm / 20" barrel, manufactured out of stainless steel by PROOF Research, is wrapped in carbon fiber and comes with a factory-installed OmniPort muzzle brake on a 5/8x24" muzzle thread; the center section of the chassis is manufactured out of Cerakote gunmetal grey magnesium, and supports the CNC-machined, drilled and tapped and railed stainless steel E100 Blackout Cerakote-finished receiver with its deeply fluted bolt.

Standing at approximately 97 to 104 centimeters (38.5 to 40,25") in overall length, depending on the caliber and barrel length, the Savage Arms 110 Ultralite Elite never exceeds 2,7 kilograms (6 lbs) when empty.
