Chiappa Firearms expands its Wildlands rifle lineup with the introduction of the 92 Wildlands Field, one of the two streamlined lever-action rifles chambered in .44 Magnum (the other one being the Wildlands Core model) developed and launched this year to combine traditional handling with practical features for real-world hunting, sport shooting, and field use.
Built around the proven 1892-style lever-action system, the 92 Wildlands Field is conceived as an essential, purpose-driven rifle for hunters who value reliability, balance, and ease of use. The platform maintains classic lever-action ergonomics while integrating select modern elements designed to enhance versatility without altering the rifle’s core identity.
Like the 92 Wildlands Core mode, the new Chiappa Firearms 92 Wildlands Field rifle features a full-length magazine tube holding up to eight rounds of .44 Magnum, with the possibility of manually inserting a ninth round in chamber, thus offering plenty of capacity for hunting, plinking, cattle protection, home and property defense, and more.

The Chiappa Firearms 92 Wildlands Field rifle is equipped with a 16.5-inch / 419 mm round-profile barrel, featuring a 5/8×24 thread at the muzzle with a screw-on thread protector, allowing prompt use of muzzle accessories such as flash hiders, compensators, muzzle brakes, and sound suppressors where legally available.
The magazine tube is loaded via a classic-style gate locating on the right side of the steel receiver. In a radical departure from the Wildlands Core model, which featured Chiappa's new Angle Eject system, the 92 Wildlands Field rifle sticks with the classic top ejection pattern.
Sighting equipment consists of a Skinner Picatinny rail with rear peep sight, paired with a red fiber-optic front sight, providing a fast, intuitive sight picture suited to field conditions while offering prompt compatibility with long eye relief optics.
A defining feature of the 92 Wildlands Field is its forend design, which integrates three M-LOK interfaces positioned on both sides and on the underside to allow the installation of accessories such as bipods or other task-specific equipment, extending the rifle's adaptability beyond traditional lever-action setups.
The checkered walnut forend features a tapered, diamond-profile geometry, fuller at the center and narrowing toward the ends, designed to improve hand placement, control, and comfort during extended use, while preserving a traditional appearance.
The rifle is fitted with a walnut pistol-grip stock and features a large loop lever and a half-cock hammer safety, maintaining a familiar and intuitive manual of arms for lever-action users.
