Freshly announced by Blaser and brand new for 2025, the Blaser R8 Success Vintage straight-pull rifle brings the Blaser R8 series of configurable hunting rifles at the top of finesse: this special edition model flatters the eye of the beholder while remaining perfectly functional and effective as a hunting companion on the harshest terrains.
A harmonious combination of hand-selected stock woods and high-quality saddle leather, matching in color nuances, create a visual counterpoint against the black brushed aluminum of the receiver and trigger guard: refined and a classic from day one.

The thumbhole stock and handguard of the Blaser R8 Success Vintage rifle are made out of matt-finished, hand-selected Grade 6 wood; contact surfaces on the pistol grip and handguard, as well as the recoil pad, are wrapped in high-quality saddle leather inlays that will develop a natural patina with use, further improving on the overall look.
Standing out are the gold titanium-nitride inlays: trigger, bolt, and the "R8" and "R8 Vintage" lettering on both sides of the buttstock and receiver.

The charging handle knob of the Blaser R8 Success Vintage rifle is also manufactured out of Grade 6 selected wood; the Success Vintage retains the smooth straight pull action and the excellent trigger that made the Blaser R8 series of rifles so highly acclaimed.
Other features of the Blaser R8 Success Vintage hunting rifle – like on the rest of the R8 line of rifles – can be configured by the customer to meet his or her needs and preferences by using the convenient configurator on the Blaser official website. Configurable features include, but are not limited to, caliber, barrel length and profile, iron sights, and optics mounts.
The Blaser R8 Success Vintage straight-pull hunting rifle will also be available in a "Silence" version, coming from factory with an integrally silenced barrel. The availability of the "Silence" version will be dependent on the legal status of sound suppressors and suppressed firearms in each Country.
