In September 2017, UMAREX GmbH – a global market leader in airguns, airsoft replicas, self-defense accessories, blank guns, and utility tools – reached a much-awaited and well-publicized agreement for the manufacture and distribution of 6mm airsoft replicas and 4,5mm/.177 airgun replicas of Glock pistols.

As of today, UMAREX is the only company to be licensed by Glock to reproduce the company markings and realize 1:1 scale, 100% accurate replicas of Glock pistols.  The agreement is valid worldwide exception made for France and its territories, having Glock reached a separate agreement with a French company for that specific market.

At the 2018 SHOT Show in Las Vegas, UMAREX finally showcased the first samples of airsoft replicas and airguns based on Glock pistols. They are ready to roll out from the factory, and according to information they should be available to retailers in a handful of weeks – months at the most.

As of today, the UMAREX line of Glock replicas includes gas-operated blowback and fixed-slide 6mm versions of the Glock 17, Glock 19, and subcompact Glock 42 handguns; blowback or fixed-slide CO²-operated 6mm versions of the Glock 17 and Glock 19; and a CO²-operated 4,5mm/.177 version of the Glock 19. Other models and variants should be available in the months to come.
