Diamondback Firearms SDR 3-inch and 9mm personal defense revolvers
SHOT Show 2025 – Diamondback Firearms expands the SDR line of defensive revolvers with a new 3" barrel variant in .357 Magnum and .38 Special, and a highly requested snubnose model in 9mm Luger
Two new variants of the Diamondback Firearms SDR Self Defense Revolver – a .357/.38 with a 3" barrel and a highly anticipated 9mm Luger with a 2" barrel – made their official debut at the 2025 SHOT Show. Feeding from a 6-rounds capacity cylinder with a push-button release, the SDR revolvers offer faster loading and casing ejection; all models also come standard with a fixed orange fiber optic front sight, dovetail fiber optic green rear sight, and a fully captured crane link and cylinder assembly.
Built around a stainless-steel barrel and solid forged stainless-steel frame, the Diamondback Firearms SDR revolvers come standard with rubber Hogue grips for a solid feel when shooting. The new snubnose 9mm SDR will accept proprietary moon clips: Diamondback partnered with TK Custom and the gun ships with three TK Custom moon clips in the box, while the new 3" variant, capable of handling both .38 Special and .357 Magnum, will provide more versatility and appeal to a platform that has already enjoyed a huge success on the US market.
MSRP on the US market is set at $837 for the 3" model and $821 for the 9mm Luger version.
