In 2017, by popular demand, Colt relaunched its legendary double action revolvers that had made the company so popular in the past decades and left such a long-standing impression among gun enthusiasts worldwide as well as in the global popular culture. Colt’s new line of double-action revolvers have been expanding since then, and new for 2023 at SHOT Show, the company announced the launch of three new models.

The Colt Anaconda .44 Magnum double-action revolver, back on the menu since 2021 in 6” and 8” barrel variants, is now available in a shorter version with a 101 mm / 4” barrel. Just like all other Colt Anaconda variants, this too features a full stainless steel barrel, frame, and 6-shots cylinder; the action is redesigned as a beefed-up Python action for increased durability. A Hogue overmolded black grip helps taming the brutal recoil of .44 Magnum. MSRP in the US is set at $1,499.00.

2023 also marks the return of the Colt Python .357 Magnum double-action revolver with 3-inch barrel; the coveted “short Python” is likewise entirely manufactured out of shining stainless steel and features a new walnut grip with redesigned ergonomics for more comfortable shooting. The new short Python still remains compatible with earlier Python grips. Other features include a set of adjustable sights. MSRP for the US is set at $1,499.00.

Last, 2023 will finally see the launch of the Colt King Cobra Target .22 Long Rifle double-action revolver, which shooters have been long waiting for ever since it was initially announced back in mid-2022. A single-piece stainless steel 4” or 6” barrel, a rubberized overmolded grip, a 10-shots cylinder and an adjustable rear sight with a high-visibility front post make the new King Cobra Target .22 a perfect choice for your shooting competitions. MSRP for the US market is set at $999.00.
