Chiappa Firearms 1911-22 Tactical Grey, a new rimfire plinking pistol
SHOT Show 2023 – Chiappa’s 1911-22 rimfire pistol gets a new look, with a railed tactical forend, Combat-style skeletonized controls, and a tactical grey Mystikote finish
Just introduced by Chiappa Firearms at the 2023 edition of SHOT Show, the Chiappa Firearms 1911-22 Tactical Grey .22 Long Rifle semi-automatic pistol represents the latest iteration of the line of rimfire clones of America’s most quintessential handgun, which the well-known Italian company has been marketing worldwide with great success in various versions ever since 2009.
This blowback-operated single-action pistol is an almost identical replica of so many tactical 1911-type .45 ACP designs, and is perfect for low-cost training, for plinking, and as a “first pistol” to introduce the youngest generations to the basics of marksmanship and safe firearms handling; the new model features a captivating tactical grey Mystikote finish – a thin layer applied to all outer metal components, offering superior corrosion against scratching, heat, corrosion, chemicals, and other aggressive elements.
The new Chiappa Firearms 1911-22 Tactical Grey pistol features a Picatinny-railed frame for tactical accessories, a set of slip-proof G10 grip panels, a Combat-style set of fiber-optic sights, a flared magazine well for quick reloading, and a Match type, skeletonized hammer and trigger. Magazines are manufactured out of black polymer, and hold up to 10 rounds of .22 Long Rifle ammunition each.
The Chiappa Firearms 1911-22 Tactical Grey pistol is sold in a rigid case along with two magazines, a replacement set of sights, a gunlock and a fiber cleaning brush.
