The new Glock 17L Gen5 MOS 9mm Luger semi-automatic pistol, introduced officially at the 2024 edition of the NRA Annual Meeting & Exhibits – held in Dallas, Texas, on May 17 thru 19 – features a long barrel (153 mm / 6.02"), a well-balanced long slide (225 mm / 8.86"), long sight radius and a slightly lighter trigger pull made for reliable precision in competition.

All Gen5 engineering features – such as enhanced GMB (Glock Marksman Barrel) rifling for improved accuracy, as well as an added ambidextrous slide stop lever for higher flexibility – are integral to the new Glock 17L Gen5 MOS pistol.

The modular beavertail backstrap system allows shooters to instantly customize the grip to adapt to any hand size. Additional flexibility is provided by the reversible magazine catch, enabling optimum handling of the gun for both left- and right-handed shooters.

While Glock's Safe Action® System still provides control and safety, the elimination of the finger grooves enables more individual handling. Combined with the proven frame surface that enhances grip traction, the Glock 17L Gen5 MOS pistol offers maximum comfort in any situation. Additionally, the machined MOS (Modular Optic System) interface enables seamless installation of all the most popular micro red dot sights through the use of interchangeable plates.

A retail price for the new Glock 17L Gen5 MOS is yet to be announced.
