Officially announced on the US market on May 9, the new Vortex Optics Viper HD riflescopes are specifically dedicated to meet the needs of those hunters and long-range shooters who accept no less than the best and seek for an unparalleled edge in the field to make sure that when the decisive moment comes, success is assured.

The Viper HD series is comprised of eight entries overall, in three different power factors (2-10x42, 3-15x44, and 5-25x20), all built on single-piece 30mm lightweight aircraft-grade aluminum alloy tubes, and all coming with a high-definition optical system, illuminated reticles for maximum visibility in all environmental lighting conditions, exposed or capped turrets, and much more.

The lowest-powered entry in the line, the 2-10x42 model, comes with a MOA-based Dead-Hold BDC reticle on the second focal plane for fast and simple holdovers. The same reticle is available on the 3-15x44 model, which also comes with the user's choice of MRAD- or MIL-based VMR-3 reticles. The higher-powered 5-25x50 model is available with MOA-based or MRAD-based reticles, more specifically the VMR-3 reticle on the second focal plane or the VMR-4 reticle on the first focal plane.

The reticles on the 3-15x44 model are only on the second focal plan; the 5-25x50 is instead available in first focal plane or second focal plane reticle options. The entries in the Viper HD line with exposed turrets also feature the RevStop system, enabling quick and reliable return to zero.

The new Vortex Optics Viper HD riflescopes are available on the US market at a manufacturer's suggested retail price that ranges between $899.99 and $1,399.99, depending on the version. For information concerning availability and pricing outside of the United States, consult the authorized Vortex Optics distributor for your Country.
