Auto-Ordnance TAO50 bolt-action rifle
SHOT Show 2025 – The Kahr Firearms Group has its first .50 BMG bolt-action rifle, manufactured under the Auto-Ordnance group: the TAO50 promises precision, power, and sturdy construction
Auto-Ordnance Corp. introduces the TAO50 .50 BMG bolt-action rifle; the first .50-caliber creation by the historical brand (currently a staple of the Kahr Firearms Group) is built to be a sturdy, accurate, reliable and very durable rifle, covered by a 1-year warranty. A bolt-action design, the TAO50 is based on Auto-Ordnance's patent-pending roller bearing bolt for smooth operation; the charging handle located on the left side, so shooters can chamber a round without leaving the shooting position.
The Auto-Ordnance TAO50 features a precision 29-inch barrel fitted with a proprietary high-efficiency muzzle brake, and feeds through Barrett M107 10-rounds detachable magazines. The MOE-I grip and PRS Gen.3 precision adjustable stock are provided by MagPul; other features include a Timney AR-style adjustable trigger, an Accu-Tac bipod, and a full-length top Picatinny rail for optics.
The TAO50 rifle is available with a matte black or flat dark earth finish, a machined M-LOK handguard, and ships in a custom hardcase, equipped with wheels for easy transportation, with custom pre-cut foam padding.
MSRP is $8,700 for the matte black rifle and $8,800 for the FDE finish version.
