Bushmaster Firearms announces the reintroduction of their big-bore rifle for long-range shooting or tactical applications: the Bushmaster BA50 .50 BMG bolt-action rifle is back on the market, years after the company was re-established in Nevada following the bankruptcy of their previous owner, the Remington Group.

Available in a Cerakote black or Flat Dark Earth version and built on a 6061-P6 alloy lower receiver and a 7075-T6 alloy upper, the reintroduced Bushmaster BA50 feeds through proprietary steel magazines, manufactured by Bushmaster, holding up to ten rounds of .50 BMG or 12.7x99mm ammunition.

The matte black finished, super solid 9310 steel bolt features a charging handle located on the left side of the receiver, specular to the ejection port, so that right-handed shooters can cycle the bolt without leaving the shooting position.

The Bushmaster BA50's 737 mm / 29" Cerakote matte black, Nickel-Chrome-Vanadium steel barrel features a 1:15" twist rate and a massive three-port brake installed on a 1”-14 TPI muzzle thread

The BA50 comes with a full-length top MIL-STD 1913 Picatinny rail for optics and comes from factory in a fitted hard case with a Bushmaster Target trigger, an ERGO Tactical Super Ambi Grip, a MagPul PRS Gen3 adjustable buttstock and a GG&G LCB-3 folding bipod

MSRP for the new Bushmaster BA50 on the US market is set at $6,878.95 for both variants. Due to the .50 BMG chambering, the BA50 may not be available on all markets; for informations concerning local availability and pricing outside of the United States, consult your closest Bushmaster Firearms distributor or contact the company.
