Remington RM380 Micro Light Blue pocket pistol
SHOT Show 2019 – Remington introduced a new variant of its RM380 pocket .380 ACP caliber concealed carry pistol, featuring a light blue frame and grip and a black or Cerakote stainless slide
The new Remington RM380 Micro Light Blue pistol adds up to the well-known RM380 line of Remington handguns first introduced back in 2015 in response to the positive changes in concealed carry laws in most of the United States and thus to the increased demand for deeply concealable self-defense handguns.
The Remington RM380 is a variant of the R9 and R380 pistols, designed by Karl Rohrbaugh. A simple locked-breech, short recoil pistol, the RM380 is 5.27” (13,38 cm) long overall and features a double-action only trigger; a totally encased hammer; an ultra-low profile slide stop release lever; and a single-stack metal magazine holding six rounds of .380 ACP ammunition, with an ambidextrous low-profile triangular magazine catch.
The RM380 offers no other controls, and its overall design is compact, rounded and streamlined to prevent any snagging hazard when the gun is drawn. The barrel of the Remington RM380 is merely 2.9” (7,3 cm) long, and the pistol weighs barely 12.2 ounces (345 grams) when empty.
The new Remington RM380 Micro Light Blue pistol is set apart from all other versions of the design by the bright light blue aluminum alloy slide and polymer grip panels – attached to the grip by a set of screws to make it wide enough to be comfortable to handle even for shooters with not-so-small hands. The slide, trigger and other smaller parts are available in a black or Cerakote stainless finish.
