Extrema Ratio E.C.M. Cobra
Extrema Ratio presents the new E.C.M. tactical knife: a solid and reliable knife designed to be effective in multiple roles, for special operations units
The Extrema Ratio E.C.M. Cobra (Einsatzkommando Cobra Messer) is a fixed blade, multipurpose knife designed for field applications together with the famous Austrian police special unit “Cobra”, whose logo is laser etched on the blade’s heel.
The Extrema Ratio E.C.M. knife provides the features of both a handy tool and a reliable weapon in a compact package.
The blade of the Extrema Ratio E.C.M. is made in Böhler N690 steel, hardened at 58 HRC; it is 106 mm/4.17” long and 5mm/0,2” thick and plain edged.
The blade profile is a modified spear point with a ¾ length false edge and a spur guard to protect the hand in heavy use. As usual both guard and pommel have a hole to fix the knife to various implements.
The knife weight is 240g/8.6oz, and the blade comes with the classic Extrema Ratio MIL-C-13924 black, non-reflective finish.
The knife’s grip is made in high strength G10 instead of the usual Forprene, and it is secured to the blade tang through two screws and has all the ergonomic features of the usual Extrema Ratio grip.
Being a knife designed and intended for professional use, high relevance has been assigned to ease of carry, access and extraction in case of need.
The polymer sheath is versatile and can be carried on a duty belt or mounted on the M.O.L.L.E. system of a tactical vest, a backpack or any other equipment.
