First announced and showcased in their prototype form back in April 2024, the P24 and LP24 semi-automatic pistols from Grand Power of Slovakia made their debut on the US market at the 2025 SHOT Show in their final production form: compared to the pre-production models seen at IWA 2024, the common polymer frame of the P24 and LP24 pistols has been finalized in its design and features a stippled slip-proof pattern on the grip, interchangeable backstraps, and indexing points above the trigger guard.

The P24 and LP24 pistols are striker-fired, single-action handguns that depart from the classic rotary barrel design generally used by Grand Power, opting instead for a Browning-style tilting barrel. The P24 is a service and defensive pistol, with a 3.6" barrel, optics-ready slide, and raised dovetailed sights for absolute red dot cowitnessing; the LP24 is essentially the same platform in a long-slide, 4.¾" barrel variant with LPA fixed fiber-optic and adjustable rear sights, and once again optics-ready slide.

Common to all models are double-stack magazines offering a 17+1 rounds capacity in 9mm Luger; a set of interchangeable backstraps for adaptability to all sizes of hands; a Picatinny-railed dust cover for tactical accessories; aggressive, wide front and rear slide serrations; ambidextrous magazine release, slide stop, and Glock-style disassembly lever; and a set of three automatic safeties.
