Heckler & Koch expands the VP9A1 series with the launch of the VP9A1-X 9mm Luger pistol, a cross-over design dedicated to those users who desire a shorter pistol – easier to conceal, easier to draw – without compromising on grip size, magazine capacity, and user-friendliness for shooters with bigger hands.
The VP9A1-X features all the improvements that the VP9A1 line brought over the VP9 series, in a shorter package with a 4.09" barrel and a reinforced polymer frame fully compatible with the VP9A1 interchangeable grip backstraps and panels. The Heckler & Koch VP9A1-X comes with a set of tight, deep front and rear slide serrations and easy-rack rear wings; a set of dovetailed sights, and a machined integral optics interface for micro red dot sights. Double-stack magazines are available in 10, 15, 17, and 20 rounds capacity.
The Heckler & Koch VP9A1-X is also available in silencer-ready variants with a threaded barrel and suppressor-height sights, and in an optics-equipped variant that comes from factory with a Holosun SCS micro red dot sight. Depending on the configuration, number and capacity of issued magazines, MSRP on the US market ranges between $1,049 all the way up to $1,449.
