The 2026 edition of the Jagd & Hund expo – one of Europe's biggest trade shows for hunting firearms, ammunition, and accessories, held in Dortmund, Germany – was the perfect occasion for the well-known Blaser Group to showcase their full lineup of new products for 2026.

This year, the new entries in the German company's catalog are basically all dedicated to meet the needs and tastes of modern-day hunters: these include two new entries in the R8 line of straight-pull hunting rifles – one of them being integrally silenced, as hunting with sound suppressors is legal in many European Countries – and two new variants of the K95 Kipplauf break-open single-shot hunting rifle, a mainstay of the European mountain hunting tradition; also new for 2026 are several fresh entries in the Blaser CDX line of hunting ammunition and two sound suppressors.

Blaser R8 Professional 2.0

First announced in late 2025, the R8 Professional 2.0 straight-pull hunting rifle represents Blaser's tip of the spear for the hunting market and aims at solidifying its position on the global markets even further in 2026.

An extremely solid, smooth-cycling and accurate rifle, the R8 Professional 2.0 is built around a single-piece synthetic stock with elastomer polymer reinforcements around the points where the stock is mated to the lightweight aluminum alloy action.

The barrel of the R8 Professional 2.0 rifle is coated in a DLC A+ finish for superior levels of resistance to corrosion, scratches, and use, while the stock features a set of removable and interchangeable inserts that make the size, height and length of the handguard, grip, cheek riser and buttplate completely customizable around each shooter's physique.

New for 2026 in the R8 Professional 2.0 line of straight-pull hunting rifles is the R8 Professional 2.0 Black-Brown model, featuring a set of black interchangeable inserts on a dark brown stock, a 52 cm / 20" barrel available in numerous profiles and variants, and in no less than forty-eight different popular American and European hunting calibers depending on the selected barrel profile.

Also new is the R8 Professional 2.0 Black-Brown Silence model, basically the same rifle with the same type of stock, but available in eight standard-action calibers and built around a 47 cm / 18.5" integrally silenced barrel, dedicated to those Countries (particularly in northern Europe) where the use of silencers in hunting is allowed, or in some cases even mandatory.

Both models feed through a proprietary detachable magazine that is integral to the trigger group and extracts from the stock and action along with it; and both come with a separate top tang cocking lever that requires manual activation before every shot.

Since the striker does not cock on open or on closed and must be armed manually and separately, the Blaser R8 Professional 2.0 rifle is totally safe from accidental discharges even with a round is chambered and can be considered one of the safest hunting rifles on the market overall.

Blaser K95 Success Vintage and K95 Grand Luxe single-shot rifles

Blaser announces new products for 2026

The German word "Kipplauf" indicates the kind of single-shot, break-open hunting rifle that has become a staple and an icon of northern European mountain hunting traditions.

Kipplaufs are meant to be as lightweight as they get, which can be quite punitive in terms of recoil but lightens up the hunter's personal load in those situations where he/she may be required to bring some big quarry back home strapped on a backpack down a rugged mountain slope.

Blaser's K95 is one of the best known lines of high-end Kipplauf rifles, and in 2026 it has been expanded to include two new variants – dubbed respectively the K95 Success Vintage and the K95 Grand Luxe – conceived to provide a sapient blend of performance and exquisitely European aesthetics.

Both are built around a high-end aluminum action, and available with five interchangeable optics mounts: standard ring mounts (for 1", 30mm, 34mm or 40mm rings), Prisma mounts, or proprietary Zeiss, Swarovski, or Schmidt & Bender interfaces.

Blaser's new K95 Success Vintage rifle features a blued barrel, a eceiver and stock brace in black satin finish with the words "K95 Vintage" in gold lettering, and an elegant gold-colored titanium nitride on the trigger and breech block; the thumbhole stock and handguard are ergonomically perfect, and made from hand-selected grade 6 wood with a matte finish and a set of high-quality brown saddle leather grip inserts and recoil pad.

The K95 Grand Luxe features an elegant standard stock and handguard in Grade 6 wood; a set of tate-of-the-art laser engravings on the receiver, with the buyer's choice of animal motif combinations on each side and elegant old German arabesques filling the top and bottom of the receiver and trigger guard; and a finely engraved locking lever edge.

New calibers for the Blaser CDX ammunition line

Blaser announces new products for 2026

Blaser first introduced the CDX (Copper Deformation Xtreme) line of leadless hunting ammunition at the Jagd & Hund expo of 2025.

Manufactured around a specially-designed copper-based bullet, the Blaser CDX multi-purpose, balanced performance ammunition was engineered to ensure optimal game meat preservation of game meat while at the same time offering 100% weight retention for extreme penetration and reliable effectiveness even at extended ranges.

Currently unavailable in North America, and thus largely a European market exclusive, Blaser's CDX is meant to provide hunters with ammunition that corresponds to the highest demands – in Blaser's own words – not only in terms of accuracy and effect, but also when it comes to sustainability.

The patented CDX's Triple-Hydro-Jet tip acts as an expansion initiator; a state-of-the-art uniform nickel finish and the grooved design play a pivotal part in ensuring both ballistic performance and weight retention upon impact.

First introduced in a new 8.5x55 Blaser caliber – a light all-rounder for European game developed specifically by the German company – the Blaser CDX ammunition now also includes variants in .308 Winchester .30-06 Springfield and .300 Winchester Magnum.

Blaser's CDX ammunition offers high levels of performance even on relatively short barrels, think under 50 cm (20"), and on suppressed firearms. This makes them ideal for almost all kinds of European hoofed game and every hunting situation.

Blaser B43Ti and B50Ti sound suppressors

Blaser announces new products for 2026

The civilian market for sound suppressors is definitely bigger than it seems. In some European Countries, the use of sound suppressors is not only allowed, but in some cases even mandatory when shooting or hunting outdoors or practicing target practice in some indoor ranges; and in the US, the market for suppressors exploded after the $200 NFA tax for their transfer was waived starting Jan.1 this year.

New for 2026, Blaser introduces the B43Ti and B50Ti hunting suppressors. A hybrid design – titanium core within a corrosion-resistant aluminum tube – Blaser's B43Ti and B50Ti suppressors feature a baffle geometry based on an innovative 3D-printed wedge brake technology that improves their performance, reduces felt recoil and enhances balance and handling.

Both models come with a M15x1 European thread for installation; the only difference between the two is that the B43Ti is an on-barrel model that threads directly to the muzzle of the hist gun, while the B50Ti is an over-barrel design whose rear portion wraps around the muzzle of the host gun for a few centimeters before threading, thus reducing overall length, resulting in a shorter overall combo for even better handling.
