The new Winchester Copper Force ammunition is 100% manufactured in the United States, available in three calibers so far – .308 Winchester, .30-06 Springfield, and .300 Winchester Magnum – and loaded with 125 grain bullets in all chamberings.

The Copper Force bullets feature a solid copper core and a red polymer tip deeply seated within the hollow point; the polymer tip prevents clogging upon impact, which could otherwise hinder expansion, and also dubs as an initiator for the expansion process itself.

Winchester International's new Copper Force ammunition develops extremely high levels of energy – 3.000 m/s / 9,842 fps at the muzzle, 890 m/s / 2,919 fps at 100 meters (109 yards) – for a flat trajectory, longer range and maximum accuracy even in those hunting specialties, such as mountain hunting, that require difficult long-range shots with high kinetic energy and full energy transfer on large-sized game.

The copper core separates from the meplat upon impact to ensure deep penetration and clean exit wounds in most cases. Given the extremely high levels of kinetic energy – 3.389 J / 2,499 ft·lb at the muzzle, alla volata, 3.208 J / 2,366 ft·lb at 100 meters (109 yards) – Winchester's Copper Force ammunition ensures clean kills on the vast majority of big game, deer and wild boars included.
