When it comes to gun disassembly, maintenance or gunsmithing, relying on a standard pin punch procured at your local hardware store can be fatal: excessive friction, slipping, the wrong metal hardness, all can cause damages to the finish of the firearm – or worse.

Wheeler Engineering thus combined two of their best roll pin punch kits – the Roll Pin Starter Set and the Ball Profile Roll Pin Punch Set – to come out with one of their new gunsmithing products for 2017: the Wheeler Master Roll Pin Punch Set.
The Wheeler Master Roll Pin Punch Set offers eighteen firearm- and gunsmith-specific pin punches, designed to provide proper alignment of the roll pin and prevent damage to the firearm or roll pin, all included in a rigid plastic case.
Each roll pin punch is hosted in a numbered slot, allowing quick and easy access to the right tool for the task at hand.
The Wheeler Master Roll Pin Punch Set also includes a typical Brass+Nylon gunsmith hammer
The Wheeler Master Roll Pin Punch Set includes two 5/16", 1/4", 7/32", 3/16”, 5/32", 1/8", 3/32", 5/64" and 1/16" roll pin punches; all are machined and hardened from steel to prevent bending or breaking while driving roll pins, and all featured checkered gripping surfaces and knurled handles.
Nine of the pin punches were also designed with a counter-bored tip to properly align and start the roll pin, preventing damage to the firearm.
Additionally, the Wheeler Master Roll Pin Punch Set includes a small (170 gr / 6oz) hammer with a knurled steel handle for precise control, and a double head: a steel head for metal punches and surfaces, and a brass head for preventing marring.
