Among the new products introduced by Fenix early on in 2017 is the TK25 R&B flashlight – R&B standing for "Red and Blue". Ditto, the main feature of this new version of one of the most appreciated and highly sought classic products of the Fenix Lights line of products is the capability to easily switch from a standard white light output to a red light and a blue light output, with variable intensity levels.

The tail cap can be removed and replaced with a Fenix AER-03 remote pressure switch; jointly with the Fenix ALG-00 or other similar mounts, the Fenix TK25 R&B can be used as a tactical gunlight on any firearm that features a MIL-STD 1913 Picatinny rail.

The Fenix TK25 R&B tactical flashlight is powered by a single Fenix battery ARB-L18-3500U, not provided; that's essentially a proprietary variant of the LiIon 18650 rechargeable battery, but ready to be charged via USB port also.

The ARB-L18-3500U offers several protection features, including a reverse-polarity protection and a built-in protection circuit in the anode, offering protection against short-circuits among other things.

If need be, the Fenix TK25 R&B can also be powered by two CR123A commercial battery, although performance and battery life will unavoidably degrade.

The Fenix TK25 R&B flashlight is 14,2 cm (5.59") long overall, and weighs barely 156,5 grams (5.52 oz) without a battery. The 40 mm / 1.5" diameter head features a strike bezel, a toughened ultra-clear glass front lens with anti-abrasive and reflex-proof finish, and hosts a white light CREE XP-G2 S3 led and a red/blue light XP-E2 led, with an overall life of 50.000 hours.

Twisting the flashlight head in any direction allows easy switching between the white, red and blue lights, providing practical access to illumination solutions for tactical navigation, map reading and night hunting.

The blue light mode offers only a low-intensity, 60 Lumens output with a 41 meters (44.8 yds) range. The red light mode offers two output options: 150 Lumens for high visibility and 25 Lumens for map reading and navigation, with a minimum range of 49 meters (53.58 yds) and a maximum range of 132 meters (144.35 yds).

The white light mode offers four different output levels – 15, 100, 300 or 1000 Lumens; depending from the selected output level, the range can shift between a minimum of 15 meters (16.4 yds) to a maximum of 225 meters (246 yds). The secondary tailcap button also allows access to a high-intensity, 1000 Lumens strobe mode for emergency, singnaling, tactical or defensive purposes.

The Fenix TK25 R&B tactical flashlight is IP68 certified for water resistance up to two meters (6.56 ft) in depth and for from/shock resistance up to 1 meter (3.28 ft).
