TacBand is one of the many brands operated by Enjo Sports, a conglomerate headquartered in the Chinese city of Guangdong and engaged in the manufacturing and distribution of hunting, sport shooting, and outdoor accessories.

Products distributed under the TacBand brand include snap caps, laser boresighters, tactical gunlights, and bipods. One of these – the TacBand BPV bipod – does indeed deserve a closer look for its overall impressive number of features.

Obviously manufactured in China, the TacBand Carbonstrike BPV bipod is a purely civilian-grade product, dedicated to satisfy the needs of modern-day hunters, leisure and sport shooters, be it in training or competition – including tactical shooting matches – with a keen eye to limited professional use by local law enforcement, game wardens, wildlife enforcement, and the like.

The TacBand Carbonstrike is remarkably well made for what it is – a budget-priced folding bipod – offering features such as a carbon-fiber structure that allows it to offer the same level of stability and resistance as a full steel or aluminum bipod while keeping overall weight down to mere 340 grams (12 oz.).

The TacBand Carbonstrike bipod is available with two interface options: the basic interface is an M-LOK mount, which can be topped off with a quick-detach Picatinny attachment that can be adjusted for tension and width with an Allen key. All interfaces are manufactured out of 6061-T6, matte black anodized lightweight aluminum alloy.

A head tilt block lever provides rock solid stability while allowing pan to be adjusted to the left or right on a max. 40 degrees angle. Two flat quick-release levers allow the legs to be independently extended from a minimum of 20 cm / 8” to a maximum of 28 cm / 11” in length, making the TacBand BPV adaptable for all sorts of shooting positions, be it either a bench rest or Field Target shooting post or the occasional tree log on the ground.

The TacBand Carbonstrike BPV bipod comes issued with rubberized feet, providing non-slip adherence to hard surfaces; also issued with each bipod are a pair of steel spike feet that can be mounted instead of the rubber feet, without the need of any tool.

The legs of the BPV bipod can be folded for transportation or extended in a total of seven positions on a 180-degrees angle, making it perfect for use against vertical surfaces – such as shooting barricades – which is something that many higher-priced competitors still do not offer.

The TacBand Carbonstrike bipod is something you can pick with peace of mind if you’re looking for a compact, lightweight backup bipod to keep handy “just in case”.

The construction is sturdy, and the levers, buttons, and clamps are stable and reliable. Frankly, it's becoming increasingly difficult to understand why you'd buy more expensive products from established brands when you're faced with products like this, well-made and with all the key features needed for most possible uses.
