New for 2025, Leupold & Stevens, simply known as Leupold – America's biggest and oldest manufacturer of sport optics, established 117 years ago by German and Polish immigrants – announces a large upgrade to their already extensive line of spotting scopes, binoculars, riflescopes, and red dot sights.

The new entries in Leupold's product lines include products that will meet the demands and different tastes of long-range hunters and competition shooters; outdoor, bird-watching and boating enthusiasts; and even of those hunters who use in-line muzzle-loaders, a category way too often overlooked by optics and accessory manufacturers.

Some of them have already been spotted back in January at the 2025 edition of SHOT Show, in Las Vegas; others will be introduced at the upcoming IWA OutdoorClassics 2025, to be held in Nuremberg (Germany) from February 27 thru March 2. Let's have a look!

Brand new for 2025 is the Leupold VX-6HD Gen.2 line of riflescopes, available in six variant – 1-6x24, 2-12x42, 3-18x40, 3-18x44, 3-18x56, and 4-24x52 – covering the needs of a vast majority of users, including MSR and long-range shooting enthusiasts, but chiefly designed for hunting purposes, particularly for the most demanding specialties.

Offering features such as the superior Guardion lens coating that sheds dirt and water for clear, crisp images, and a new set of ballistic turrets adapted from the Mark 5HD competition scope series that allow the adjustment of windage and elevation without tools, the new Leupold VX-6HD Gen.2 riflescopes are robust, precise, and adaptable: thanks to the CDS ballistic system – now included in the purchase price – shooters can obtain their scope with bespoke adjustment turrets made to match the exact ballistic data of the cartridge they're using, for superior performance in all conditions and at all distances.

Also featured is an electronic leveling system, simplifying mounting and improving long-range accuracy, ultra-lightweight construction that disperses recoil energy for unmatched durability, and Leupold's legendary Full Lifetime Guarantee.

The Leupold Mark 5HD 2-10x30 riflescope is now available with the new illuminated CMR-MIL first focal plane reticle. The CMR-MIL reticle was designed to meet the needs of competition shooters and professional operators, particularly when it comes to tactical close-to-mid-range engagements.

Offering daylight-bright illumination for maximum visibility in all environment light conditions, the CMR-MIL features very clear hash marks for windage and ranging and a combination of a horseshoe-style open ring with a fine center dot that dubs as a large dot for fast shooting at low magnification and offers advantages for precise shot placement at high magnification.

Also featuring motion sensor technology for fast activation of the illumination when needed, the Leupold Mark 5HD 2-10x30 CMR-MIL riflescope is available with a matte black or flat dark earth surface finish.

The Leupold Freedom RDS Muzzleloader red dot sight was developed in response to several States in the midwestern and western US now allowing 1x magnification optical sights to be used on muzzleloading rifles for hunting purposes.

Featuring a precise 1 MOA center dot illuminated in red and a Custom Dial System (CDS) ballistic turret, the Freedom RDS Muzzleloader red dot sight offers riflescope-like ¼ MOA-per-click adjustments (7,25 mm at 100 m per click) to greatly improve long-range accuracy, making it the most precise red dot sight particularly for modern in-line muzzleloaders.

A ballistic turret cap engraved according to customer cartridge data is included in the purchase price; like all Leupold riflescopes, the Freedom RDS Muzzleloader red dot sight is designed, machined, and assembled in the USA and guaranteed for life.

Finally, new for 2025 are also several new entries in the Leupold Pro Gear line of apparel and accessories.

The Leupold Rendezvous Dry Duffle bags, available in 40-liter and 75-liter variants, will reliably protect sensitive equipment, optics, firearms, range gear and more from exposure to water, dirt, moisture, grime, and other environmental elements. Manufactured out of high-resistance, TPU-coated 900D Nylon cordura, they're reinforced and fully-sealed with a marine-grade EVA (ethylene-vinyl acetate) bottom section, resistant to salty environments.

Leupold's Enclosed Binocular Harness carry bag with chest harness securely protects all handheld optical devices such as binoculars, rangefinders or thermal imaging devices and keeps them quickly at hand. Two versions are available: a silent magnetic fastener and a non-magnetic version whose elastic fastening system without magnets doesn't affect functionality of traditional and electronic compasses.
