Brand new for 2024, the Uberti 1873 Short Rifle - Hunter lever-action rifle blends the most iconic features of the historical replicas that the Italian company is well known and appreciated for with a series of modern twists that the modern-day battue or driven hunting enthusiasts will definitely appreciate. Boasting a high capacity tube – up to ten rounds of .44 Magnum or .45 Long Colt, plus one in chamber – the Uberti 1873 Short Rifle - Hunter will deliver all the stopping power you need for boar hunting.

Built around a side-loading, top-ejecting receiver, with a 20-inch semi-octagonal barrel, the Uberti 1873 Short Rifle - Hunter is embelished by the case hardening of the lever and external hammer, which also dubs as a manual safety when brought to the half-cock position. The frame and barrel feature a super-resistant all black finish. Like all 1873 rifles, the Short Rifle - Hunter also features a dust cover to protect it from dirt, grime and other elements.

The stock and handguard are manufactured out of A-grade walnut; the rifle also comes with a rubber butt-pad, an ergonomic pistol-grip stock, a buckhorn rear sight and a fixed front sight. For hunters preferring optical sights, the Uberti 1873 Hunter Rifle comes with a Picatinny rail included, easily installed by tapping out the buckhorn rear sight and screwing the rail on the tapped octagonal portion of the barrel; all tools for the installation of the rail are included.
